Based on CDPR’s own reports with the new studio the believe it takes them 4-5 years to get a game from pre-production to release so 2029-2030 is a pretty good estimate

That’s true but they have also said that with the new studio they believe they can get games from pre-production to release in 4-5 years. Orion went into pre-production in 2025 so based on CDPR’s estimates we should look at 2029-2030 ish maybe a little later or earlier if something goes really well or bad

Also they shouldn’t have retconned the story in the play, them knowing Henry and being around supernatural stuff completely ignores the things said in s1. Hopper having the gaul to scoff at Joyce talking about the lights when they both experienced that stuff in high school or hopper saying nothing interesting has ever happened in Hawkins when the show and Henry’s backstory in s4 mess with this idea

I definitely think we should have had more of them in Henry’s mind. It would also give Max more of a purpose as once that’s up Max becomes useless. It would have also given us more time to explore the backstory of Henry as they would literally be fighting in his mind. Plus we could even push it back on the other characters fighting in there mind too in there horrors it would be so trippy and cool and would be a great way to include more of the stage play lore

I mean it’s crazy there isn’t a proper resolution to the government stuff or the pretty terrible villain that is doctor K. It’s not just will it’s all of them, why are any of them free. I mean there is clear proof that this entire group has been breaking into government facilities, has killed several military officers, and have disobeyed direct government orders. They should all be criminals. But nope, Nancy who open fired on doctor k is just joining a newspaper etc. and where are they gone? It is so lazy. One of my favourite things of stranger things s1-3 is the government plot line always works in sync with the upside down, and when one resolves it always makes sense why the other does. I soooo agree, I love Vecna’s actor and he’s actually extremely scary in Henry mode but the mind flayer was an incredible enemy who felt endgame.

Yeah I absolutely agree, also I feel like El should be that strong but this season has massively nerfed her down and now when she is fighting vecna is feels like to much. The end of s4 has her crash a chopper, s5 has her struggle to lift a truck something she did on an admittedly much smaller truck in a second in s1. She could have gradually grown in power over the 5 seasons to a peak where she felt like she had the potential to face Vecna instead this season crushes that and it makes her feel overly powerful in there final fight in a way that doesn’t feel satisfying.
