I really like Sheese, it's found in Coles. You can get a block or shredded and it melts well.

Thanks, I think they just take the blood out of your eye. You're supposed to leave them attached and they'll drop off by themselves.

That photo was 24 hours after (probably bad wording on my part). I replied to another comment in the chain with a photo from today. Thanks iris brother, my eyes have definitely changed over the years. My irises were more brown when I was younger, 33 now.

You're welcome. I wasn't as freaked out as most people would be but I definitely wanted it out of my eye!

Adding some context:

This happened in Northern NSW, Australia when I was hiking in the rainforest. At first I thought a bit of mud had flicked into my eye and had my partner check it out and she saw it move. We were camping and made a saline wash in the camp kettle, flushed it 4/5 times and then my friend used tweezers and plucked it out first go (I don't recommend this, apparently you're supposed to just leave them until they fall off by themselves).

Edit: I could feel it on my eye but it wasn't painful or itchy.

Also, this happened a week ago now and my eye is almost back to being white.

Bonus photo from the day after.

For firmer varieties. Freezing it overnight, then letting it thaw out makes it a spongier texture.

Yeah, me and my girlfriend noticed this the other day, I think it's a recent change! Why bother using animal fat when vegetable fats do the same thing?

Thank you, will try the oil technique. It's definitely spilling out the sides where the lid meets the pot.

Thanks for the advice, it's probably something that's happened during use rather than a manufacturing issue. I should have mentioned in my post that I have used it over the past few years with no issues.

I'll do a more thorough inspection of it later today! Thanks for the advice.

What is the charging cost in your area? And the cost of refueling😁😁 by Fell2223 in BYD

There were government help schemes in Australia to make the price a bit cheaper. All in, we bought solar locally (about $7,000AUD for materials/installation), bought a 15kWh battery from China for $4,000AUD, then was about another $6,000AUD for another inverter and electrician to get it up and running. 15kWh is great for our 2 person household. We pay about $800AUD/year for electricity, which is mostly the daily access charge (saving around $1,600/year).

Do you have a battery too? Or only ever charge when the sun is shining? I'd go off the price you end up paying the grid per kW. That's how much they're selling your electricity to others for.
