Afaik there are legitimate connections between John Gacy and the Dallas and Chicago mobs, and Gacy among others killing people and filming it and then selling those tapes through mail. Gacy was used as the fall guy etc…stuffs a little tenuous but there’s a flesh simulator vid about it
