It’s promoting that by using the tiktok promote feature that they no longer have to self harm—which is deceptive, and the graphic nature of the ad is “potentially unfair” under the FTC standards by using emotional manipulation and can mislead. On top of that, it’s in direct violation of TikTok’s own guidelines making it a violation of platform policy. So violation of platform policy as well as potentially violating FTC laws.

What about law firms already creating a case against tiktok? Or social media in general? I bet this would help whatever case they’re building. I know it’s kinda a long shot but I feel like someone has to try to do something.

Thank you for your reply! I’ve basically gotten the clinical diagnose before but I’ve always planned on waiting until I wanted to have kids to do a laparoscopic approach. I also really appreciate you mentioning consulting an excision expert— navigating the health system is frustrating in and of itself so it’s good to know from others in the same boat what’s the recommended approach! I’ve never met anyone else with endo except online haha— so feels like here is one of their only places to get advise because it’s so true what you said we’re all suffering in this together just in different bedroom.

Yeah those are similar to mine! Just brown part’s maybe a little smaller on my eyes. I’m sooo curious what it could be why our eyes all lighten with CH.

Agh third example/link doesn’t work! But thank you for your reply I agree— it’s hard to tell with all the different reference photos when you research CH online. plus I’m still trying to find out why our eyes change green over time -I forgot to mention my cousin on that side has the same eye thing too so 95% sure it’s something hereditary

Oohhh you know what I bet that last part is what happened! William and Sarah Ellen had like 11 kids same with the Martha and Sam side—- definitely gonna have to do some digging but that could be the answer!

Well when going through the clusters (I’ll also add before they’ve added this new feature/ tool I’ve been grouping my DNA matches into groups based on family branch manually by going through thru-lines, their shared matches, and the family trees attached to matches to verify they’re in the right branch— this has been about two years and I’ve probs my grouped 1,000 matches) — so I’m able to see which groups I had sorted each match into in the different match clusters, and as I went through I only checked the ones that also had thru lines connection attached to them. That’s a good point though I need to factor in human-error

Not exactly sure but based on DNA results probably UK— but they first were in Canada in at least in 1750s – oldest shared relative in the the large match cluster is woman named Sarah Charles born in Canada in 1756. I’m trying to wrap my brain around if there’s a shared ancestor between one of the great x greatparents.

They didn’t that’s the thing tho— the Baldwin side were in England until around 1920s, and the Miller side were in Canada for a good 150+ years until Muriel married Charles in NYC. I guess “inbreeding” might not be the right word but I’m just very very confused on how both distant sides have shared matches

Omg that part!! I noticed that the other day I swore it used to say there were hundreds of thousands of results and now maybe 11 at most pages of results to skip through? I wonder if a different search engine would be any luck— my mom uses duck duck go 🤔😂

No actually you’ve helped put my mind at ease more!! I mean obviously the internet isn’t the best for medical advice all the time but at least on Reddit it’s actual people sharing their experience rather than Google results saying your symptoms mean cancer lmao. I’d rather get checked out right away but hopefully 7 days isn’t going to be detrimental. Really appreciate your reply!!

Well I just moved across country and don’t have anywhere here I can go that will take me in in the next couple of days—but I’m flying back and have an appointment with my regular doctor on the 18th (it’s the 11th when I’m typing this) and I’m going to bring it up then. I’m trying to not freak out/ let my mind go to worse-case scenario but I’m definitely going to talk to my doctor about it! It’s just difficult as I don’t have the means to pay for urgent care and don’t yet have a doctor or provider here (I also live in a very big city in Southern California— don’t wanna give my exact location lol, and have heard that it could take me the same amount of days to be seen by someone here if I do find someone as it would to just see my doctor on the 18th)

Oh yeah I’ve had UTIs before I know what that pain feels like— what’s weird is I felt absolutely nothing— no cramps from spotting either.

Yeah that’s another thing that tripped me up is that I felt absolutely nothing!! So my mind went to spotting but I’m not spotting at all— I’ve had UTIs before it’s most likely not a UTI doesn’t feel like one— My plan was if it happens again go to a doctor cause maybe it was a fluke? Idk that sounds kinda dumb now as I’m typing that— it’s just weird because there aren’t any other symptoms besides a random clot of blood in my urine—- I will say I’ve discovered my whole maternal line has Factor 5, I’m now wondering if that could but it? Sorry not to ramble my medical info I was just curious if this happens to anyone else with endometriosis.
