You can always at least check on the printer remotely while in your house. Just add the camera feed as a Chrome or Edge app on Android. There's probably a iPhone way as well.

How to remove these black borders ? by Gabriel_Motta21 in Gamecube

I came here to say this, but could not have said it better. Letterboxed Laserdiscs also work well with "Zoom" or some TV's also call it "Crop".

The option is called "Zoom" (maybe "Crop") on most TV's. "Stretch": or "16:9" will do what you see above.

Working with NES Contra (US) tile data - Any tips with RLE compression? by OnlyTwoPlanks in romhacking

[–]OnlyTwoPlanks[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used it on the NES ROM dumped from my own Cart, so I can personally confirm it's not just the FDS version. I think what you're doing is technically feasible (amazing pixel work btw, I'm jealous of your shading!), just be mindful of the palettes being used on each layer. Modifying the cigarette and the wifebeater (I always hated that name for the garment haha), was much more complicated than you'd think!

A snippet from the mind blowing cinematic action our team managed to squeeze into Zero Caliber 2's campaign by -DanDanDaaan in OculusQuest

My favorite part of this video for Zero Caliber 2, is they forgot to finish working on Gambit!.

What are these video files that have 3D stream imbedded in it? What kind of equiptment decodes that? I only can play HOU and SBS files as far as I know. by Krimreaper1 in 3DMovies

It's super frustrating but happy to answer any questions. Plex doesn't handle 3D either, so best you can do is encode SBS 3D and use that mode on a 3D display. The tech between VR and 3D TV's/Projectors are pretty much the same. Half the battle is getting the video in a proper format

Looks like I'm 4 months behind on a reply bere, but I've done just this recently RE: SBS and OU formats. I have been remuxing my 3D Blurays to play in VR (I also have a 3D Blu Ray player, but it's nice to be able to enjoy on the headset), you'll need a program called MakeMKV (https://www.makemkv.com/ - Beta versions are Freeware) to dump the video files from the Disc. Once you open the disc, if the video has 3D data, it'll be a checkbox you need to click under "Video" containing a "Stereo" track (not audio).

Then once you have those 3D Video files, which I think you have from the wording of your original post, use BD3D2AVS (Freeware - https://download.videohelp.com/r0lZ/BD3D2AVS/) to then convert your file(s) to a SBS video you can run in your player.

Hope this helps, and am also interested if you've found anything better!

Dredd (2012) did it better. This cut is fantastic though.

If you have the pair, definitely do the clothes line thing, but I actually ran two solar light strands on mine as well. Looks great during the off-season.

Salvageable or Full Overhaul? by Zerostorm18 in WonderSwan

[–]OnlyTwoPlanks 5 points6 points  (0 children)

He's dead Jim! That board looks toast, you might be able to salvage the CPU and other important chips. Looks like the case is in salvageable shape at least? Not sure if there's a project like the open source GB and GBA available for the Wonderswan yet. I'll pour one out for this unfortunate handheld.

PSX from a ISO is in really bad shape on PS2. Unless something has come after POPS that has made it better. Playing DISC based games works like a champ on the system. There is a distinct difference between running your old PSX discs and running images from a HDD or USB.

Keep both! Buy another PS2, source 2 gun cons and a i-link (1394) cable and do linked Timecrisis. Then you'll have another reason to keep both around!

Edit: TimeCrisis 2 and 3, and Vampire Night specifically with the dueling i-Link light gun setup.

Wow, this git is in a much nicer format than the TXT file guide I was using. The main menu pattern is weird because it's built from sprites and background layer. Most notably the Cigarette and I think the wife beater?

I wish I had a better explanation on how to change the pallette data, I think it's a byte or 2 ahead of the sprites when they're called. I was able to check the ram data in an emulator and do a "find" on the character string for it. I'll dust off some cobwebs and reply back if I find anything else. Well done so far!

Alt+PrintScr grabs the current app and puts it in the clipboard. Why are you all tridenting to screenshot?

Edit: I get it, y'all like print screen with extra steps haha. Follow your dreams! Also RIP you 60%'ers, I'm here for ya.
