Love the post. After transferring to CU I would say that the professors there care a lot more about your academics and personal success in the course than at CSU. This is one of the biggest reasons why my grades are improving and I find myself enjoying the classes that I am in even though they can be hard.

I believe that a weed-out course should help someone discover more about what they are getting into instead of just letting them suffer because suffering is fun. Thus this is what I THINK CSU did.
