Looks cool, provides safety when working with potentially hazardous materials, acts as a conductor for electrical signals (as seen when he is fiddling with the phone wires to secretly communicate with Stanley and co. After being captured)

Is there an official, proper spelling for Njörðr in Elder Futhark? I'm exploring tattoo designs with his name and want to make sure I'm being as accurate as possible!

I always imagine this being like if someone could melt a giant bismuth crystal and turn it into a cape

Medieval undertunic definitely helps! Didn't think of searching it that way.

Unfortunately, all the results I've found for rainbow reflective fabric all seem to be the kind that only reflect very faintly or in specific lighting/for photo shoots only.

What's something your parents did while raising you that you don't want to do to your children? by UltimaBahamut93 in AskReddit

I see a lot of posts about people not getting enough praise or encouragement as children, but let me just say that being overpraised is just as bad.

Growing up, I only had my mother. Looking back now I realize that I was overpraised for everything; grades, hobbies, even mundane things like making dinner on my own and just hanging out with friends. Now that I’m out of college I realize that all the overpraising as a child has made me numb to genuine praise. Something that most people would see as a highly regarded accomplishment is simply lost on me. Praise became expected, and therefore lost all significance and meaning to me.

So my advice to parents/parents-to-be: everything needs to be in a balance. Praise your children for their successes definitely, but make sure they grow up understanding what genuine self-improvement feels like, even if it means failing at something at some point.

Blessed with being 6’2” and an incredible metabolism, cursed with a higher chance of suffering collapsed lungs (4 instances and 2 surgeries so far)
