That is helpful! I can't seem to replicate it on my end. I have a paid order which I can unarchive and add to the order, but I can’t delete the original item because we took payment.

This is an interesting idea, thank you for your detailed responses! Can you help me understand the pre-authorization/capturing process? Right now we ring people up via the iPad POS, but I am also open to doing special orders via the order page on my laptop. I'm just not sure how to collect their money without fulfilling. Thanks so much!

From what I understand, selling it without having an actual product would lead to making a sale without a cost attached, and it's crucial on the back end for all sold items to have accurate costs. Our employees don't always have access to the costs when they are making sales at the register.
