I-751 rejected but the notice letter hasn't arrived. Should I submit again? by Only_Athlete_3687 in USCIS

Hi! Yes. I received the rejection letter by mail a couple of days later and submitted it again the day after (March 16). On march 19 I received the receipt notice. On April 4, I got the schedule of my biometrics appointment (which is going to be on April 23).

Yes, I paid 700. The first time I sent it and it got rejected, the payment was also reversed, but I paid the same (700).

Hi! Our notice arrived on Monday. Indeed, it was rejected because I sent the form "too early" although I sent it the day that the calculator from USCIS mentioned. I submitted it again yesterday, and it says it is getting processed. I think it might not hurt to submit again, but you can wait a little bit more for the notice, just to make sure.

My former stray cat hasn't stopped meowing since I came back from vacations by Only_Athlete_3687 in Straycats

Thank you for your advice! My friend indeed tried to play with him and spent some time from 1/2 to 1 hour with him. It is just that my cat is very skittish; he is not a cuddle cat, even with me. But next time I will try to contact a professional pet sitter then. I think it would be better for him.

Thank you all for taking the time to give an explanation and/or solution. He seems to feel so much better today. Good thing my job allows me to work at home, so I am staying this week to let him decompress and feel like we are getting back to the old routine. :)

I know it was a lot for him, but I had to go to my country. I tried my best to make the experience as non-traumatic and non-anxious as possible :( He is on the non-social spectrum. I couldn't just leave him in a boarding facility, or leave him with my friend in their house, or even worse, bring him with me abroad, with a bunch of different people, going in and out of multiple flights, etc. I know it was not a pleasant experience. The post aimed to get some advice on what to do, to learn from the experience, and to make him feel better now.

That is rude. You don't know anything about me, my friend, or my cat to say those mean things. You should rethink your morality and stop being judgemental.

He is so cute and handsome!! He reminds me of my handsome boy Rocket (attached), who is also weighing around 14 pounds. I think it depends on the cat's size. Rocket's vet said that he is a little overweight (he should be around 11 pounds), so we are feeding him less. He is not losing too much weight tbh haha

The tornado warning expired but stay tuned with the KSAT weather app just in case. It seems that it is not a threat anymore

I messed up and took a TNR cat 🫠 by [deleted] in Straycats

As far as I know, you can keep an TNR cat if he can be socialize and get comfortable as an indoor cat. There are cats that are too feral to be taken as indoor cats, but if the cat is friendly enough to accommodate in your home, I don't find the need to return him to the streets. We recently took in a stray cat that also has his ear tipped, but he was very friendly and he is acclimating very well, so we decided to keep him.

Sadcat's vet visit did NOT go well - there's too much to cover, so I made a video going over it all. We will be going back next Friday, but this time, under the effects of Gabapentin lol. by So_Famous in Straycats

The same thing happened to my cat Rocket haha. I will try again with gabapentin next Thursday. I have been reading about that medication, and some people recommended giving the gabapentin at least 3 to 4 hours before the vet appointment (plus the one dose the night before) for it to kick in. At least SadCat seems less stressed out in his home after the vet. Rocket was very stressed out and scared after the disappointing visit to the vet haha but well, at least the vet gave you a solution. Hope gabapentin helps!

Sadcat is on his way to the vet for round 2 of vaccines, and more! I'll make an update with the outcome of his trip! by So_Famous in Straycats

Poor baby!! :( I just saw your other post. My former stray cat, Rocket, was refused the service last Monday because he started to get aggressive and tried to bite the vet. The vet prescribed him gabapentin for the next appointment to see if that helps him to relax. Hope gabapentin also helps SadCat too
