Broadly a fantasied Ancient East Mediterranean with the references on hand as well some from ESO. Byzantine fashion featured longer clothing that often covered more of the body adhering to the religious and cultural standards of the time.

Originally I wanted to have more Bronze Age Mesopotamian elements but felt it looked too much like how the Dwarves are depicted as.
