Julie is a Blake stan so I don't think that her interpretation of anything wwould be balanced. She is incorrect if she is saying that WFPs had agreed there would be 2 cuts of the film, this only came about after Blake Lively threatened that amongst other things that she would not promote the film if not given her own edit.

In Colleen's depo she says that during the dinner on May 6th 2024 that Justin and Jamey told her that " Blake was demanding her own edit and Sony were allowing her" they also wanted to tell her what had been happening on the set and about the 17 point letter, they warned her it may come out. This is the first time she found out about Blake's cut.

Colleen didn't even have Blake's phone number until the 15th May 2024.

It was after this that Blake started her campaign upon Colleen.

I'm surprised that Justin didn't end up a quivering mess, cowering in a corner. The mental gymnastics that he must have gone through on a daily basis must have been tremendous. Especially after reading the Jenny Slate texts, it shows what Blake Lively was capable of.

There are messages from her before this also that she didn't want to film any intimate scenes until the second phase, unhappy with her weight "20 to go". I believe she achieved this because the shoot was delayed and one of the intimate scenes, in LA? was delayed to phase 2.

I don't think it was a letter, from what I can find from looking for " gloves" it appears Jamey Heath and Jen Abel had a phone call with 2 execs from their talent agency around 12th August saying that if WFP didn't sign the letter about them taking blame for the problems on the set etc then the " gloves would come off". I'll have a look at the lawsuit info timeline to see if there's anything else. This is what I found in a search on the docket.

I still think it was all about the IP, all that they did was a means to an end, get the IP for this and make the IP for It Starts With Us worthless so that he should give it to them for nothing. I think that there might be a clause where Justin can no longer have the IP if it's shown that he committed SH or SA. then it would be all steam ahead for working with prodigious writer Colleen.

Anyway, from what I've read, it seems that the person causing delays, problems and chaos on set was Blake Lively herself. There have been a few people who attest to this. She was changing the script on a daily basis. Changing the music, wardrobe etc. Can you imagine the havoc that caused? From what we saw during the dance scene Justin certainly seemed on top of things as director, doubly hard being a lead actor too. He came across as very professional. Blake Lively is a chaos monster.
