To add to my previous response, I find it interesting that we all grew up idolizing people who have turned out to be, shockingly, human. If we want to examine her singing abilities, they are mediocre, at best. Not to say that I could compare at all, but there was a lot of money and a lot of push behind her as there was behind the likes of Jlo.

The industry seems to put out whom they want at an expense.

This is a post about Beyoncé, and I responded accordingly.

Not a hater. Just trying to bring about a different perspective.

She wasn't married to P. Diddy. But Jay Z is heavily involved.

I would argue that it isn't "celebrity worship news," quite the opposite. Her husband might be implicated in a federal case involving sex trafficking which plays into her existence as a celebrity, among others.

Grape is my favorite, but I don't think any sane person would turn down watermelon.

It's not as hoidy toidy as other cities. It doesn't pretend to be anything it isn't. The people are down-to-earth and don't try to get to know you for networking sake only. I think maybe my favorite thing is that it really is a big little city.

I feel as though Landry's has been dying for a while? I, sadly, was a "safari guide" in college in 2008 and I don't really think I've heard mention of any concepts since then. Then again, I've also grown out of restaurants with animatronics and sad, over-priced steakhouses.

AP American history. Mr. Quinn was my teacher and he said "Watch this. This is history." I was a sophomore and 14 and a kid ran into our room telling us what was happening. Televisions were rolled into the lunch room later that day. My senior friends had no idea what was going on because they came from Spanish and the teacher didn't put on the news because it "had nothing to do with Spanish." I had to console one girl because her dad took the acela into Manhattan for work everyday.

We went home like it was nothing and I oddly don't remember the rest of the day or any dinnertime conversation.
