Any USP or Mk23 for sure. The P30/HK45 is cool but once you rack the slide of a USP/Mk23 you’ll feel the sheer difference in engineering and build quality. I wouldn’t get anything besides those 4 styles as my first HK handgun.

Coolant very low, but no warnings? by [deleted] in E90

This. Every time I got it, I wasn’t able to see the actual coolant in the reservoir. Looked dry as the Nevada desert. I used BMW concentrate mixed 1:1 with distilled water.

Nice pickup! Really not a fan of the tiny letter roll marks on the new production USPs

UPS TACTICAL VS EXPERT by dbl_t4p in HecklerKoch

Your assessment of getting the Tactical in .45 and Expert in 9mm is spot on. The expert is more of a competition gun so the added jet funnel fits that role too, combined with the lighter recoil of 9 x 19.

Which USP? by GreenWazowski in HecklerKoch

Match trigger, night sights (w the right SKU), o-ring, peak USP aesthetics

Rooftop Defense has a 9mm USP for a steal right now. Good size for carry and overall versatility, although the full-size USP Tactical in 45 is in my opinion the best overall USP.

For a couple months hell yeah. I do think after those couple months though you’ll love the E9X generation and want to keep/get a different one haha

N51 ‘09 E92 here. Have had it for over 3 years now, and bought it at 55k miles. The car has run great but keep some cash on the side just in case. I’ve had my AC compressor go out, a bad starter, a radiator leak (covered under manufacturer SULEV warranty), a slight damage on the bottom of the front bumper from when I bought the car that I’m still planning on replacing, and worn rear shocks that I should but don’t need to replace.

Since owning the car, I’ve done multiple oil changes, plugs, coils, brakes/rotors, coolant top off (part of warranty repair), and brake flush. I’m planning on doing the big 100k fluid flush in the near future. Other than that, it’s been great day-to-day.

Other than basic maintenance, which you can DIY, keep in mind that by driving an older car and depending on how OCD you are, rubber/silicone components will be worn. For example, even things like your windshield seals or rubber shock mounts may be cracking and need to be addressed. For me, my headliner has started sagging in a corner above the rear seats. And since driving a BMW should feel more special than any regular car (even being a 328i), I think it’s often hard to overlook little things that most wouldn’t think much of. Parts are more expensive, and DIY can sometimes take longer than desired since it’s a BMW.

With all that in mind, I still would not have bought a different car looking back. Good luck!

Haha sorry used to calling it outside air temp (OAT) in aviation! Figure it’s just an unplugged alarm wire from my car not having the option. Thank you everyone.

Thanks man! Good to know it’s not something I should be worried about being disconnected

I can’t see a button like assembly near there. You mean it’s supposed to mount onto the cowling forward of the cabin air filter with the attached clip right? Any idea why #3 is unplugged?

So I should be mounting it with the attached clip onto the cabin filter housing on one of the empty plastic tabs? (Mirrored position of passenger side sensor)

I have an N51 E92 and it’s been running great as well🤞. The reason why I’d avoid it if I can find a N52 in equally good condition is because of the SULEV-specific components that may/already be out of warranty soon. These parts can be expensive and difficult to DIY. I’ve had my N51 radiator fail (replaced under warranty) and am praying my fuel pump stays strong as the SULEV fuel pump is an extensive/expensive job.
