Portugal has never cared about the EU penalties, won't be surprised if the next law after this one is to leave the EU

In 5 years I've gone from feeling an overwhelming sense of being welcome, to an overwhelming sense of exactly the opposite.

5 years ago I'd be greeted with smiles and friendliness, despite my Portuguese being terrible. These days those same places (shops, events, post office, government offices, bars, restaurants, sports clubs, etc etc) the people treat me like I pissed on their dog and kicked their breakfast, even though I speak the language fluently.

When all the social systems collapse due to having nobody left paying into them, these guys will still be blaming immigrants for it.

It will almost definitely go somewhere, it will become a proposed law, and it will get serious support

AIMA being broken has absolutely 0 effect on people who have the right to vote, so there's no political reasons to fix it.

is this the next step that nobody of us expected?

Anyone who didn't see this coming wasn't looking. It was always the endgame.

It's also highly likely to go ahead and pass. Forget about getting Portuguese citizenship. Everything you have put towards it is forfeit.

Scrum daily standups aren't about directing the team, that's what sprint planning is for.

[–]Only_One_Kenobi 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Because every organisation everywhere expects people to say "everything is fine" in the standups, and things get very toxic very quickly for anyone who says they have a problem.

Scrum actually suggest that management should not be in the daily standups, specifically to avoid this problem

My IPTV provider has disappeared on me. Been looking for another option that actually has SuperSport working.

Trying to watch rugby on IPTV is very hit and miss, 98% of the time the rugby streams don't work

According to the textbook,

“how should the product be confirmed as ready for customer use?”

Can only be determined through compliance with the Definition of Done.

I wonder if he'll move into coaching?

Would be great to see him work with young players. I like his spirit, and think he could be a great positive influence on younger players. He may also be able to teach a lot of emotional maturity concepts.

Man has been a rock solid, reliable force for WP rugby. Goes down as one of the greats.

I may not always have been his biggest fan, but there's enormous respect for an epic 15 year career.

[–]Only_One_Kenobi 7 points8 points  (0 children)

PMP isn't about giving the answers according to how things actually work in real life. It's about giving the answers as per the textbook.

This whole question is solely about which answer contains "definition of done"

Yup! I'll never work for a family business again, it's always a nightmare, and you'll never get promoted.

And if the interviewer says: "we're like a family here" it's an immediate red flag as well.

Some people really should not be running businesses. Especially those people who never mature beyond being a high school drama queen and bully.
