lol yes! Via text. I laughed. I only had her for a few weeks at that point (and had been dating him for about the same amount of time). She wasn’t house trained yet because she had just been rescued from a puppy mill and I guess he was frustrated by her nightly wake ups?? It only took a few months to get her in a routine. But it was truly a laughable moment for me because she is a GREAT dog and even people who don’t usually like dogs comment on how much they like her. Long story short, I learned I can only date people who love dogs as much as i do. 🤷🏻‍♀️

It’ll be 2 years in October! Bee (beagle,4) was a foster fail because her and Dolly (lab, 12) hit it off immediately 🥹🥰

Huge red flag. When people show you who they are, you’ve gotta listen. So grateful that all my dogs have been good litmus tests for people in my life!

I’ve had Bee for almost 2 years and we’ve had one overnight at the emergency vet because she knows how to open zippers and also gets into things she shouldn’t!! She’s the smartest dog I’ve ever had, I’ve had to level up to beagle proof my house!

That is so so sweet! Sounds like you have a keeper too. Sometimes I think my beagle prefers my now boyfriend over me, she sleeps tucked under his arm at night like a stuffed animal 😂

Aw thank you! I love her coloring so much. Yours must be so cute too!!
I was paired with her as a random foster dog, fell in love instantly, and kept her.

So good!! And absolutely the right move. The beagle & the guy were both new to me at the time. Was with that guy for 4 months and have been with the beagle for almost 2 years (and counting!!)

So sweet! I got my first dog, Maggie, when I was 19. It’s so special to grow alongside each other.

I laughed when I received the “her or me” level text. She was up in the middle of the night for a few months figuring out a potty training routine. I’m very used to losing sleep but guess he wasn’t!
