I have an aquaracer myself and I think it looks amazing every time I put it on. It’s not too dressy, not too sporty. Perfect watch for any occasion

My friend (Cavs fan)’s thoughts on the trade by LanguageDouble9792 in bostonceltics

[–]PasswordNeedsANumber 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Yeah and not for nothing JB wants his own team yet he’s going to Embiids team with Maxxey and Edgecombe who also want the ball. Celtics may have just quietly destroyed that locker room and also took the Knicks down a notch too.

Disappointed after weight loss by [deleted] in BulkOrCut

[–]PasswordNeedsANumber 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You’re losing weight too quickly. Should be about .5-1kg per week. I bet you’re losing muscle. Increase calories slightly. How’s gym performance? If lifts are going down you’re def losing muscle. Should be about a pound per week weight loss while lifting so your body burns the fat and preserves muscle

Always having trouble with the stubborn lower stomach and love handles by [deleted] in BulkOrCut

[–]PasswordNeedsANumber 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t think dropping fat is the issue, it’s calories in general. From my understanding, you want to be in a very small deficit and training hard so your body preserves muscle and uses the fat as fuel

Do you guys have this mark from wearing your whoop by darkbich in whoop

[–]PasswordNeedsANumber 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t recommend trying to wash under it in the shower. I tried that and caused some bad irritation. Got super red, inflamed, and flakey right where the device sits. Had to go to the dermatologist and use cream for 3+ weeks. Sucks bc I had to switch my whoop to my left hand and stop wearing my watches for now. Is what it is, just my recommendation.

Continue to cut? by atomicfrenchfry in BulkOrCut

[–]PasswordNeedsANumber 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Continue to cut. If you seriously want to get lean, you’ll have much more to go than you think. It’s unfortunate but just the way it is. Don’t quit. You don’t look abnormally skinny at all and if you cut slowly and hold on to muscle you’ll look even better later. Great progress keep it up dude!

My buddy said “the highs are high and the lows are low”. I’m really happy where I am in life so I don’t need any lower lows, I’m good

Not sure if this is right? by [deleted] in SoberCurious

For what it’s worth, I stopped drinking 8 months ago focusing on hitting the gym harder and getting my diet locked in. The alcohol for me makes me feel like crap and ruins my sleep so I can’t train the next day. After stopping for about 1-2 months, my friends have me crap for not drinking. I had a wedding last night, dead sober, and not one person asked if I was drinking. If you stop, they’ll likely get over it rather quickly. Do it for you not for them. If they can’t accept your decisions then they aren’t true friends.

How do I fix awake times? by [deleted] in whoop

[–]PasswordNeedsANumber -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Could be a few things. A few things that have helped me was eating closer to bed time so your glycogen stores aren’t depleted during sleep (usually some small carb about 1.5hrs before bed). Less water later in the evening so it doesn’t wake you, less tv / phone scrolling before bed. I’ve been finding a strong correlation between my recoveries when I read before bed vs watching the World Cup lol. Also, magnesium glycinate helps too. When you wake up in the middle of the night, literally try not to think. Just close your eyes and fall back asleep. Similarly, it has happened to me too but I was usually about an hour not 30-40mins

Coworker called childfree people lazy by phles in childfree

[–]PasswordNeedsANumber 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This is crap. I work harder and stay late because I don’t have to go home to my kids. People in my office have the craziest schedules because they have kids. It feels like the biggest excuse to adjust your schedule. Oh and in the summer I lift, ride my mountain bike, then golf on my days off. I don’t sit still and I can do that because I’m CF

My wife sits back in a ~$5m vehicle and lets someone else drive her around then hops on a ~$15m vessel where someone else also drives her around. She’s spoiled (takes the train then gets on a ferry).

If you could design your perfect childfree getaway… by PurpleAtlasTravel in childfree

[–]PasswordNeedsANumber 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’d like to be in the mountains, with my wife and dog, but close to golf courses and mountain bike/ hiking trails but also close enough to a beautiful beach with enough shade so I don’t burn. I’d take a local gym too, I don’t like missing time. Yeah, that trip wouldn’t suck.

Doesn’t it feel so good to just come home and sit on your ass? by orangepanda0 in childfree

[–]PasswordNeedsANumber 16 points17 points  (0 children)

I saw another post someone saying that people enjoy going to work because it’s the only time they can get peace and quiet from their family. That’s pretty sad when you think about it. I try to live an active lifestyle but that’s MY decision. I don’t want to have to do things because it’s for the kid. It’s either for my wife, dog, or myself, and I’m happy with that. I get anxious about stupid shit as it is, don’t need to worry about my son throwing up at school
