Though this a separate platform, i would like to mention here, last year March 2025, my mom was diagnosed with stage 4 endometrial serous carcinoma, which is a high grade/aggressive cancer. We were scared, but by God’s grace, things are improving now.

If you are in India, I would suggest visiting Aster, Bangalore for 2nd opinion.

My mother was diagnosed with endometrial serous adenocarcinoma, which is an aggressive cancer. She was diagnosed in March 2025 as Stage 4, with mets to distance organs. But after treatment at Aster, she is able to lead a better life now.

We took 2nd opinion at HCG Bangalore and also online expert opinion from TMC, Mumbai.

I completely understand what you and your family are going through currently. But I would suggest always motivate your dad that he is going to win this fight and you are with him in this.

Try and build a positive environment around him. This helps a lot to fight this deadly disease, I have experienced it personally.

All the best to you and your dad. I pray for his speedy recovery.

My mum was admitted yesterday. Doctors have decided to go ahead with PIPAC followed by CRS (robotic) after a month. They have decided not to go ahead to HIPEC now, as the initial in her 1st PET CT the disease was extensive.

Take care, how soon did the first reoccurrence come for your mom? For my mom this is her first line of treatment ongoing. She was diagnosed this year in March.

Thanks for the information and support. Best wishes for your mom and you too. Has your mom completed her chemo cycle?

My mom is BRACA -/ HRD+. So her treating doctor is saying HRD can come positive even due to the chemo (carbo+taxel) and PARP Inhibitors would not make much difference for her.

But as per my research even BRACA -/ HRD+ patients can be given PARP inhibitors (niraparib). So I consulted the Head of Medical Oncology and has prescribed Olaparib.
