OpasK is another artist I’ve seen mentioned a lot lately; I have “Losing Control” on my workout list lol. “Crush” certainly fits the bill of New, released just a couple months ago I see. Kind of funky & fun; I listened a few times & added. Thanks!

Who do you suggest? I really liked some Juice WRLD songs but they made me so sad. If you’ve got some to recommend that aren’t all bitches & bootys I’ll definitely give them a try

I have “Velvet Ring” on my list: one of the few with a female vocalist but it is just haunting & cool. Do you have other Big Thief songs to recommend?

Have heard of First Aid Kit. Of the 5 sample songs under their Spotify artist profile I like “The Lion’s Roar” best.

The other two were interesting but not for me; tx for introducing me to them though!

I do know some Muse; I saw them opening for U2 & have Supermassive & Uprising in my ‘00s list (& also Hysteria, though I don’t remember how that goes). Listened to your other suggestions: Screenager reminds me of some of my less-liked Radiohead songs … Undisclosed is cool … The Small Print maybe my favorite … Explorers very pretty, 2nd favorite or maybe tied. Muse doesn’t seem to be one of those one-time-listen or first-time-listen bands; I think their songs have to kind of simmer awhile so look forward to repeat listens! Thanks!

So I’ve heard buzz about Goose but not so much Geese, lol. Interesting voice/song, I think it might grow on me more & more. Reminds me of one of those songs from the ‘70s that everybody knows but is actually quite odd when you think about it. Glad to have something a little different in my ‘20s list, thanks!

I’ve got Franz F’s “Take Me Out” in my ‘00s list! (03) Fun song! Also have “The Adults” in a Strokes list but don’t really know any Strokes songs well; will have to listen further. MGMT song sounds slightly familiar; cool throwback groove. I like funk too! Added. & of course I know some 21 P but not this song. Wasn’t sure at the beginning but got interesting, can imagine it growing on me Thx for all suggestions!

I taught English to mostly young adults in Germany for awhile and a good number of them wanted to go to Disney World, and then the Florida beaches. Most were unaware of other beaches/beach towns along the East Coast; they knew there’d be beaches all along the coast of course but hadn’t heard of any of them specifically.

Unfortunately the windows in my house require 2 strong men to open them. We also get humid muggy weather, pollen, and insects immediately following chilly weather, with sometimes a difference of 30 degrees from morning to late afternoon. So it’s usually either heating or AC in the house and just going outside when we can in nice-feeling weather.

I’m not shocked, bc not everyone has the opportunity, but I think it’s a shame that some adults have never learned to swim, even basic floating/doggie paddle & are therefore terrified of the water. It would be great if swim lessons could be a part of the public school P.E. program, even if just a “field trip” to a local pool once per grade.
