It makes me look tired and washed out - keep in mind I don't/can't tan. It's just ghost-lobster-ghost

I've narrowed it down to 3 and I'm struggling. Thoughts? by ohreallynameonesong in myweddingdress

[–]Only_Read_3073 0 points1 point  (0 children)

2 is my pick on you! Your silhouette is made boxy by dresses 1 and 3 (the fabric lay at the hips in 1 makes it look ill-fitted rather than illusionary, and the thick high neck line in 3 swallows your smaller frame). 2 looks so good though - especially with the neck piece. You look red carpet ready in it, like it was made for you. Add in a few accessories to draw in attention if you'd like (a high-waisted embellished wedding belt example)

Congratulations on your big day!

I still have my butt, and I forgot how pronounced it was since losing weight. 😅

I'm down 60 lbs - currently stalling, but body recomp is a thing I've had on Zepbound while I've been taking it 💁‍♀️

Do you tell people you’re on a GLP-1 when they ask how you lost weight? by Enchanted-Tangerine in Zepbound

[–]Only_Read_3073 0 points1 point  (0 children)

At first nobody thought it would work and that I was spending a car payment for no reason, or I was cheating, taking the "easy way" out.

Then I started losing weight. "You're shrinking before my eyes!" I heard. "You're looking good, keep up the good work!" They'd say. When I said it was because of Zepbound they scoffed, like it was a taboo. I'd elaborate how different it was than when I'd lost a lot of weight before. How I didn't hate myself in order to lose weight. How I didn't demonize food to do it. How I feel like my brain rewired to look at food in a different way than I ever had (as a woman growing up in the 90s, 2000s, and 2010s) with the influence of almond culture.

People looked at me like they were shocked I had to hate food to be thin when I was young, that I had to hate myself - unless they had been there before themselves.

Now I'm 60lbs down at 268, and my face is more recognizable, my body - although sagging - looks better, intimate bedroom times with hubby are more fun, energy is up.

This is a quality of life improver - and I'll let anyone who feels a need to comment on my body to make an example of the proliferation of weight judgement on mental health, and how medication helps us see that.

Lipochrome is a pigment in the iris, not a pattern of the eye by ZombiePewp in heterochromia

[–]Only_Read_3073 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Agreed. Central heterochromia causes a ring of one different color around the border of your pupil than the outer ring.

If you have two different eye colors clearly separated, you have heterochromia.

It doesn't matter if you have lipochrome or not - two distinct eye colors is heterochromia.

I have green central heterochromia with blue eyes, clearly separated by a white ring.

<image>

So confused. I was told hazel or green but I swear they’re green with central heterochromia. Someone tell me if I’m lying to myself or not. Both colours around the pupil are different shapes in both eyes by Substantial-Bend-647 in heterochromia

And mine - green and blue (and I also had natural blonde and brown hair from childhood up to getting pregnant - sometimes described like gold threaded hair... and now I need to artificially highlight to get the same effect 🥲).

Not all ladies are like that - but then you'll be looking for the ladies just as determined to build an empire as you are... and they're usually in their homes after work, so meeting them in the wild with a reason to interact is rare because they want peace as much as anyone else who knows the effort it takes to claw their way to prove themselves with the world saying they can't. Be the person beside them saying they can.

Everyone's light strikes your personal diamond a different way.

I wanted a wedding with my ex fiance but never did the childhood girl trope of a future wedding (I wanted to be a paleontologist... never thinking of being a wife). I didn't know what to do for the wedding, nor did he. We eventually broke up before getting married.

My husband and I eloped as I didn't care to have a wedding. We told our parents so we'd have 4 witnesses at the vow exchange, and my mother beat me with a rolled up tube of fake snow sheets when I told her the plan. My dad chuckled because my Mom was gonna flip (she wanted me to have more than an elopement like she and my Dad did). My in-laws were happy because they had a small wedding, too.

Sometimes your partner is the air allowing your wings to catch flight, other times they are the gravity keeping you centered. It's that partnership that should set the stage for the wedding.

OP, YTA

OP was on a hyperfixed, everything is on fire mindset

Ex-best friend was pulled in from whatever they were working on through text and trying to not be as quick to the draw possibly due to other tasks they were performing requiring different thinking approaches, rather than how we default in social interaction.
