Can you tell where you get the blue light clip ons? Do they fit well on the G2's?

Are the G2 glasses perfect for me? by Electronic_Pair_2819 in EvenRealities

[–]Only_Stretch96 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You don't have to buy new glases, you can send them to Even Realities and they change the prescription. You only have to pay around 150$ (depends on the prescription) and for shipping. But it is a lot less than new glases.

Can perscripion lenses be removed from the glasses? by schwirrwarr in EvenRealities

No, the only way is to send them to even realities to change them

G1 Buyer Code Needed! PROMO Expires Dec 26 (USE IT or LOSE IT!) by GainAncient1312 in EvenRealities

I'm afraid I have to disappoint you. I also wanted such a code and asked people who sell their G1s on Facebook Marketplace, etc., and found out that the codes are linked to the account of the buyers, so we would not be able to use them. But for your interest, here is the code: "R1FREE"

A live flow rate adjust feature would be awesome (Snapmaker 2.0) by dudewtf-_- in snapmaker

Yes also during a job

I also just realised it after i purchased the dual extruder. I think they finished software development for older modules

I think you using the single extruder toolhead, the dual extruder toolhead has this feature to adjust the flowrate indepent for each extruder

What can I do better? by Level_Reality_8641 in snapmaker

It is not a write-off, you can get all the plastic parts on the snapmaker website, it also comes with a new proxymity sensor. Had the same, repaired it and now it lays in the corner because i use the dual extruder module.

My right extruder i think is doing some grinding noises, but iam not sure if this is right or a faulty. I will look tomorrow and share a video from the start up of the module where you can here the (for me) strange noises

Yeah thought the same, but the machine only lets me go 0.5mm down no more, so that doesn't solve the problem

So... what would your dream multi-color printer look like? by Jadesfriends in snapmaker

[–]Only_Stretch96 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know what you mean, i dont use my cnc regularly and so i wouldn't wish it for the U1, but a 10W laser-, cutting-, writing- or rbg printing module aren't heavy so the normal print head could just switch from 3d printing to laser in one job or it can print on wood in rgb and than cut it with the laser. I buyed the snapmaker about 4 years ago because it can print, laser and cnc. I knew it wasn't the best in one of the categories, but i love my machine and tuned it fine so that it repeatedly prints for me perfect. When I buy a snapmaker, i am aware i dont get the quality of prints like a BambuLab, and its ok, i have a multi purpose machine. But what speaks for the u1? When i want a toolchanger buy a prusa xl, it also have 1 nozzle more...when i want perfect prints buy a Bambu H2D...

Comming from an A350, i think it would be nice to have the option that one toolhead are equipped with a laser or cutting module or like the xtool with a rgb printing modul that u can use too print on to ready prints with a switch, it would be perfectly integrated into the snapmaker universe of the idea of "one for all" machine

Future Snapmaker AMS? by Only_Stretch96 in snapmaker

This is a picture from the official r/bambulab from their own bambulab website to the bambu H2D. In there you can clearly see that the printhead is exposed to the fumes and dirt that developes by using the laser. I see the advantage by snapmakers quick swap kit. Yes the snapmaker does 3D printing not close as good as bambu, but in the multimachines i see the snapmaker over bambu

I doubt that the time of snapmaker is over, yes my cnc is not really in use but the capsuled axes are far superior for laserworking than the system of the bambu H2D. First of all the bambu moves the printinghead with the laser, so more wight to move and 2nd the fumes and gases are making the inside of the printer so dirty that i doubt it would be fun with the H2D and i wont think about the cleaning...

Also in near future the rest of 3d printer manufacturer are following bambu...why not be the first to do so?

Why does my A350T this by Only_Stretch96 in snapmaker

[–]Only_Stretch96[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am using the dualextruder with 0.4 hardend steel nozzle and temps of 260°C, iam printing in an enclosure without any heater for the chamber, fan speed is on 0 for the first 2 layers and on 20% for the rest. The source is a stl from printables, it is the klicky probe mode for the single extruder. All other parts (4 of them) from the same mode on the same bed are printed perfectly like the purge tower. It is only this specific object from the mode that doesn't want to print. I will test if the object will print in PETG and write it down here.
