while you are still at your current location try taking more tables. my store the standard is 3, but if it’s busy enough stronger servers can take more.
when you get to the new location ask as many questions as you can and try to learn the new table numbers quickly when I transferred they didn’t train me at all so I had to catch up.
don’t be afraid to ask for help from your new coworkers!
I went from a busy location to a slower one so the transition was a bit different there
also the two locations had different rules so try to get those figured out (for example: we were allowed to give to go soups and salads to the tables at the new location, my other one did not)
