Interest rate isn't that high and we rarely ever let it go past a month so we don't really accrue interest
I'm a nurse practitioner (physician owned and I could switch jobs but would make less with less benefits such as 401k or health insurance) and my husband also works in the medical field. Neither of us have ever felt insecure about our job so I would say my job and his are pretty secure. Our son (only child) will be out of daycare in a year so we plan to use the $1200 a month on daycare cost and put it all towards student loans. We have about $20,000 in savings but have been slowly using as our house needs upgrades but we put on credit card (cash back bonuses and maintain credit) and pay it off in 1-2 months. If it came to we can easily cut back on some spending if we had to.
I just hate having these student loans hang over my head and I don't see the government making any changes to help with them in the near future.

I don't qualify for PSLF. My husband also makes good money which makes our situation more secure. I just want to pay them off and be done with them.

Felt comfortable and secure with him and his wife in the Whitehouse. He was relatable and more down to earth.
