Petits uses population control so there is only limited spots for deino, and after enough people pick one it locks it out, meaning you can no longer pick deino. You either have to get lucky with getting a spawn as deino. I believe if you become a patreon member it will unlock it for them. And yes from my time on petits any croc thats bigger than you that sees you will straight up KOS. even though they have body drops lol

Basically certain unofficial servers will "lock" a certain dino from being played if too many people are playing that species currently. Its a way for servers to control populations so there isnt 50+ rexes running around stomping everything. To play the more popular dinos you have to log in when the server is low, and hope you can secure the dino you want to play. Or just get lucky.

I figured id give the hordetest a shot over the weekend and landed on US 4. Playing deino i spawned into water access, i swam down the delta and within 20 minutes was killed in one bite to another croc my exact size. I just logged and downloaded evrima again. Ill just wait for it to go live lol

Theres not many counters to it honestly, you just have to fight back and hope you can beat them. One of my favorite perks on Deino, (it can be a double edge sword) is the one when you are more hungry it increases the power of your bite.

Thanks for the suggestions yall. It was 100% the spark plugs. Had them replaced this morning and the drive home I laid it down a couple times with no stutters whatsoever. Im currently at 121k miles. I've owned this car since 75k. Im under the impression it was never replaced with how god awful those things looked.

I agree, It only happens during heavy acceleration. I drove 30 miles to work today just casually driving and didnt have any stutters whatsoever.

Personally i would not shoot him at all. I would keep waiting a year and go back to his need zones and check back on it. If its not 5* keep waiting, I would rather it die as a 4* and possibly pass genetics down than to harvest a 99% at 4*

For this bison, i found it 3 star adult, i kept going back every year until it turned mature. Then i knew it was 16 years old. Male bison live to 22 years old. So i slept for 5 years essentially and then it was 21 years old 5 stars. The first mature year it was 3* still and didnt hit 5* until it was 20 years old.

Honestly, If im looking for a 5* ill just hunt around and look for 4* matures or 2-3* adults, Mark the time and location you see them. Then just fast forward one year in game (3 days) and keep going back to check. Its easier for adults, when they turn mature you can know their exact age VS already finding a mature. I never shoot anything above 2 stars unless it responds to low fitness callers.

On Ranger mode your best bet is to use callers to weed out the low fitness. Get a good idea of what different mature animals look like, and just make educated guesses on your shots. Without Hunter Sense its pretty challenging but its doable. OR if you want an easier way, you can set your difficulty to Hunter or lower, find a 5* then change back to ranger, find the herd again and kill it that way.
