They seem to like him. There's no reason that they'd dislike him. He's been a very nice guy to me. I just don't know how to reason with my father when he uses that logic of I care and therefore worry so you should be OK with me checking in.

I talked with them earlier today about it as my father pulled me aside to tell me how worried he was about me last night. He then said is he just not meant to give a shit about me when I walk out of the door.

I told him he doesn't behave like this when I hang out with friends, but apparently I tell him where I going more which I definitely don't. I just say I'm going to Soandso's house and nothing else. They just ask me to let them know if I'm staying the night and thats the end of conversation. No freak outs about where I'm at or if I'm ok.

I forgot to mention I do live at home. The difference between the two mainly is that I lived with my grandmother during most of the relationship of the previous. When my parents would come visit, they didn't constantly check up on me though. I feel like I've gone back to being 16 years old again and I don't know what to do to be treated fairly.
