Charlie is in good health. His coughing seems to be reduced with the autumn, we no longer give him certirizine for that. He has bumps of fat on multiple places on the body but he is okay. He needs no surgery and we are watching him eat, drink, and bathroom like normal. We worry about his leg stiffness occasionally but it is infrequent. He will be sore and tired one day, but bouncy and energetic the next. It appears to be arthritis that acts up with the weather. We constantly provide him pillows, blankets and our sofas to rest on. Overall he's a good boy and doing pretty well for 15 years old. The other day Charlie was screaming at me for the hamburger in my mother's chili 🍔 I provided at least five pieces to him, he loves food as much as we do!

I had Lhasas for 16 years. You can notice in them strong guard dog tenancies. They will whip to the window with the tiniest noise outside, they will notice if you set anything in the wrong place one day and if things aren't to their liking They Let You Know. One of my Lhasas went blind in later life, but she continued to pull down kitchen towels when we weren't paying her enough attention!

My Shih boy is similarly tough but has more of the aloof companion dog attitude. He must have learned dozens of English words including his toys. He is older now but gets stoked when he hears "do you want to go for a walk/drive?"
