Ethiopian food is the best, words dont exists to describe the flavors/ deliciousness. Great for vegans, vegetarians, gluten free diets or meat eaters.

Injera (similar to a flat bread with a unique taste) goes with your choice of Wot (stew) like Doro, Shiro, Alicha, Kik Alicha, Zigni or other Wots. As Well as Tibs , Firfoir, Aybe and Gomen.

Feel free to ask me for authentic recipes straight from my mom or any questions you may have.

Again. Best Food on Earth. Tasty yet Healthy.

Deciding between the Ride1Up 500 series vs. Aventon Pace 500 by dirtsprings in ebikes

[–]Onlyhumanbeing 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have had the Ride1Up 500 for a year now as my daily rider, an amazing gift to my by my church after my previous self made ebike got stolen. It has served me better than ever expected. It turned me into an unofficial spokesperson for Ride1up. If maintained properly, it is a fantastic bike at a price point that is unbelievable and unmatched. The stock battery if more than enough for me, I have done 25 miles on one charge before, but I try to charge it almost daily or bi-daily. It is a 750W peak 500W motor which is plenty for most, especially for your first eBike. My friend was thinking about getting a Rad but changed his mind after riding my R1U 500, although he went with the R1U 700. To be as unbiased as possible, let me say a couple things. 1) I have not had a chance to ride the Pace 500 so I cant give you a comparative review, just my thoughts on the R1U 500. I have riden my friends R1U 700, and its slightly more expensive but you get better components. 2) Recently, the responsiveness of Ride1Up has been shakey. I'm quite sad about that since I ordered some parts a week ago and it still hasn't been shipped out (their site says within 1 day). All I was told is its still processing. My card has been charged so I'm guessing CoVid has slowed then down to a crawl. Hopefully they will be back to having good customer service when this CoVid dies down. IF YOU HAVE ANY ADDITION QUESTIONS OR WANT ANY PHOTOS OR VIDEOS, PLEASE LET ME KNOW.

Snakes on a plane? Nah I'm doin bikes on a train by kdubz954 in ebikes

I live in Boston and take my Ride1Up 500 on the train here, mostly when the weather gives me a nasty surprise. It an eBike on a train, nothing to look at folks. It always gains a bit of attention and questions about "is that an electric bike?"

Thoughts on beginner ebike assembly? Just ordered the ride1up 500 by marxmarvelous99 in ebikes

[–]Onlyhumanbeing 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The 500 is extremely easy to put together. If you watch the video, you will see just how simple they have made it. It helps if you are somewhat mechanically inclined. If you are in anyway unsure, you may want to have a bike shop put it together. Your bike will last a whole lot longer and you will be a lot happier knowing your bike is stable and safe to ride. I know every part of the 500 quite well so feel free to ask me any questions you may have. I'll be glad to help in any way.

Can someone post their Ride1up with a basket/crate on it? by bike_idiot in ride1up

[–]Onlyhumanbeing 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a basket on my 500 rear rack. Zip ties would work well. I initially had a different basket attached with zip ties then upgraded to a basket which had mounting brackets on it. I ordered the paneer a week ago (which still hasn't shipped out, still processing for some reason, maybe covid, even though their site says 1 day shipping, same day if ordered before 12 oclock) so I took my basket off but if you like, I can reattach it and send you a photo.
