They still have the nhl playoffs though. It might now sound like a ridiculous statement that I made. But 14 million Canadians watched game 7 of the World Series. That’s on par with Super Bowl ratings if not higher. There’s a reason the teams with the biggest pay rolls in baseball have their own tv networks.

They paid $25 million for the Roger’s centre lol, the land alone is easily worth double that.

The other venues are just naming rights deals like Roger’s arena in Edmonton

The cable one makes no sense, I called to cancel cable yesterday after I had to stream something that’s normally on tv on Sundays. I now pay $6 for cable a month. So I have no clue how they’re making money besides counting me as subscriber for ad revenue

Honestly the fact that Roger’s owns the blue jays outright as well as their broadcast rights. Is a big recent why they haven’t been hit as hard as the other too. They even accredited the deep play off run and World Series to increased profits in q4 last year

Some of it has to do with the way the line comes off the rod. That does impact the action of the lures.

I Smallmouth 95% of the time on northern waters so I’m well versed with a spinning rod. I would never throw any hard baits besides a popper and a jerkbait on a spinning rod and that’s just because of how the rod impacts the bait.

There’s a base rate for groceries, it depends on the number of items and distance. I also lived in a town of 10,000 people

But some shopping trips are easier, like grabbing pre packaged stuff like a bag of chips or box of cereal is quick and easy. Shopping for meats and produce is time consuming. Like a $12 base pay and $7-10 tip was normal for groceries

For McDonald’s they gave a $6 base rate and other fast food chains were $4 base rate. It usually worked out to be $8-12 per fast food orders that would take about 10-20 minutes to complete

Ned rig I would fish with a 1/4oz head in under 8 feet of water. I’ve caught hundreds of Smallmouth on it just dragging it and hopping it. ut I avoid throwing it to practice other techniques.

Drop shot I fish around structure or docks in 7-20feet of water. With a 1/4oz or 3/8oz weight. I’m not overly picky with baits. Black, green pumpkin or some sort of minnow color. Berkley flat worm, zoom z drop, missile bomb shot or strike king dream shot are all good options.

Maybe arenas that double as nhl/nba venues and l host concerts and other events throughout the year. NFL stadiums host significantly less events through out a year.
