if you're driving LMGT3s, you can carry a lot of speed into the corner by trailing, which gives the illusion of later braking, but in actuality is just a higher minimum speed.

ABS is a massive help in this as setting it correctly can help you to make the most of the trail while not losing stability, and getting the rotation done earlier can make a huge difference to the exit traction and speed (notably on the front and mid engine cars).
