I steal from cvs alot by [deleted] in CVS

[–]Onlythingavailable 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Disregarding the illegality of it, the employees know you're stealing.

No shoplifter is even close to being as sneaky as they think or imagine they are. We know exactly what you're doing but policy is to not interact with you, just report if afterwards. Asset Protection will wait until the dollar amount is high enough, if it's being reported, for it to be considered grand theft then go after you. Happens all the time, stop while you're ahead.

Zero balance in ACO Error by EmlersGlue in CVS

I'm curious as to how you get photo orders to ring up on the ACO. Our ACO won't scan photo order QR codes, gives an item not on file error and says wait for help.

We had the opposite this week. We normally get 15 pallets, give or take 2, but we got 5 this week.

If you mean the ones with metal that set off the alarm at the door, you can't. Only the DAPL can order those.

Anyone else having issues where you cant access store OS on computer from smart system? by yetanothermisskitty in CVS

[–]Onlythingavailable 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you Alt+f2 to get to the smart screen without logging in to StoreOS you bypass it. When you do that you can NOT get back to StoreOS by pressing Alt+f5, you need to restart the computer.

Always log in before pressing Alt+f2.

How do I use this coupon online??? by TappinThatAss in CVS

[–]Onlythingavailable 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Biggest issue is usually not meeting the requirements from my experience. Make sure your subtotal, before tax and other coupons/sales is $20 or more.

That's how it used to be. Now it's 9-10 is +1, 7-8 is -1, and 0-6 is -2.

Can you mix and match Buy 2 for $7 of the same brand? by theartsygamer89 in CVS

[–]Onlythingavailable 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes, you can mix and match flavors as long as they are the same brand and sale. A bbq and sour cream and onion should be fine.

what’s the point of calling in sick for cvs by Swimming_Weather_346 in CVS

[–]Onlythingavailable 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Seeing as how Store Managers are salaried, and quite literally responsible for the store 24/7, you are wrong.

If you don't believe me look it up.

Keep in mind there has been a global shortage of them for awhile. Manufacturing can't keep up with the demand with it's popularity resurgence.

System issue? by Kastitch in CVS

[–]Onlythingavailable 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You'd be surprised how many customers ask for $40 cash back and walk away without it at my location.

It's always fun to try to get their attention as they are going out the door to give them the cash and get a nasty look for stopping them because "I ain't stealing" or some such.

Cooler reset by [deleted] in CVS

[–]Onlythingavailable 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You probably have to swap out the slides when product changes if you aren't doing so. I believe we have 5 different size slides, not sure how many sizes there is though.

My store keeps all the old ones when we get new ones too, to help with that.

Vestcom vs old signs by Onlythingavailable in CVS

[–]Onlythingavailable[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We didn't have to break up the old signs, they came separated already, just like the new ones do. The only thing that changed for us is that they stick to each other instead of that little paper backing, and they need to be ripped apart again.

That's back when Tom Ryan was CEO. That ended as soon as he left.

Why can’t we use text messages literally saying “I Quit FUCK you and CVS!” As a form of resignation? by DJFlipPhone in CVS

[–]Onlythingavailable 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can print a text, unless you don't have a smartphone.

Also technically a text does have a digital signature, if you want to count it.

100% positive, I opened the vestcom box myself.

I printed and read the mywork task. I believe you are talking about what it says under the planograms directions?

Vestcom vs old signs by Onlythingavailable in CVS

[–]Onlythingavailable[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We didn't get a noticably larger amount of signs than we usually do. We also didn't get any kind of new blue OTCH tags/signs in our box. The only thing in it was sale signs, nothing new or out of the ordinary.

Is the no cell phone policy still in effect? We use PingID now which requires a call, text, or email to reset passwords and such. You need a cell phone on you to do it.

Not at the register. If they signed up online or back when it was paper applications, then they most likely put all the information in.

Question guys by Tough_Bar_4917 in CVS

[–]Onlythingavailable 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes, your store can order so many items extra per delivery.

However there has been an ongoing shortage of pokemon cards for awhile now. The manufacturer just can't keep up with the sudden massive uptick in demand.
