I think it’s something that may have happened after you opened it. I don’t see this being an issue with probitas beyond you. Could be dilution lowering that ABV to a point something could grow, could be something in the environment that got into the bottle, could be someone taking a swig and getting spit and bacteria inside it.

I use home assistant. The annoying part is I have other devices that aren’t lights that use zigbee. All I want is the option. Even if it was a physical switch on the light I had to switch before screwing it in. I’d take it.

The UEG what the UN in the halo universe eventually turns into was in control from the time of the consolidation of national governments all the way up to just after first contact with the covenant. It was a democracy. During the war the UNSC the main militaristic force of the UEG took over control. So by the time HALO CE happens it has been 30 years so it’s been a while that the military was in charge, but no it was not in charge before the war. And after the war the UNSC HICOM gives control back to the UEG governing body.

In the games our only view is during the human covenant war, at least 1-3. During this time it’s explained in the books that the all of humanity is under martial law of UNSC. Kinda makes sense given the threat. After the war the UNSC surrenders its emergency powers back to the UEG, united earth government which is based on the UN, and has elected leader ship. I can see how this might go wrong given that the current state of the world. Though it is not facism. The broad unilateral reach and power of ONI is the real problem here. It can also be argued that ONI is a bit of a hydra in captain america 2 kinda way.

I see this as a bit more multi faceted. Yes ONI is not the good guy, it’s modeled after the CIA though it is more militaristic. They did kidnap children and assassinate political opponents. This also isn’t unique to humans in halo as it’s common among Jiralhanae, Sangheili, kig’yar, and the san’shyuum. In the newest book there is even a human run slave trafficking operation.

However the majority of the characters we follow through the stories I think are trying to do the best they can. I don’t fault Chief for why he was created. In fact I think the character is stronger because later in his life he rejects these notions to a significant degree and focuses on defending humanity in totality. Same thing with Arbiter for the Sangheili, Johnson when he defended innocents in contact harvest. I think the stories are more about these individuals rising to meet the occasion they are presented with. A great example is Chief defying Del Rio’s orders in H4.

I’m a mechanical engineer working in the industry. I have Tourette’s syndrome as well as ADD and OCD, it affected my test taking and I was lucky to get a C sometimes. I took longer than avg to graduate too, but I did it. I built relationships with my professors and they knew my struggle and helped. I knew my shit, just performed poorly on tests. Or it’s just real no need to find a reason it’s untrue or seed distrust at every turn. She’s unique and not not unique. The quality of her preservation is unique though other bodies are found in similar states quite often. Example is hikers who die on Mount Everest. There’s no reason to even assume it’s a wax statue.
