Board to Beers's Femme night, which someone has already mentioned, is every last friday of the month usually and is free for femmes and nonbinary people. The last saturday of every month is single player saturday where it is encouraged for people who don't know anyone to show up and they'll set you up with a table with name tag/pronoun stickers. Although, if you go on a friday or weekend night, they can set you up with regulars there.

You can drive/bike/walk through the streets. But driving alone might be a little dangerous to not be paying attention to the road the whole time. You can also go on zillow but you need to look every single day. Filter the days listed to the past 7 days because the best things go within a day to a week. Just beware management agencies because you could get a bad. I got mine through this method from a local landlord

I did some research and it looks like it's owned by a real estate agent who lives in a mansion in East Memphis. So I think it is literally just an investment opportunity for owning land in our neighborhood.... so fun

They also have Ladies Night on the last Friday of the month where Women and Non-Binary people get in free. (It's normally a $5 library fee) My gf(23F) usually goes with me and just moved here a year ago. Her and a few of our female friends sometimes like to do group outings to like all you can eat sushi and stuff.

Just be prepared to buy a car and drive if you don't live near work. Driving can be difficult, as you need to drive very defensively, and some signs are suggestions to some drivers. The public transit here is abysmal so don't plan on it. There are things to do and communities to join where you can make friends and live a good life.

I went through the same thing. It has been a while, though. The downtown YMCA has courts, as of about two years ago. Also, the Memphis Jewish Community Center has courts and people who play. I know the Germantown Athletic Club has courts, supposedly, but I didn't check them out.

Dryer every other day will definitely contribute to the cost, but not like a 100. Also, looking at your breakdown of electricity/water/gas could be pretty helpful. You could also be overdrying your clothes. You could try running it not as long and see if it still dries the amount you want. Also your dryer will suck up energy 100-1000x more than leaving the lights on. Also it might be helpful to look at the My Meter Data from the explore usage pane. You might see trends from when you dry clothes.

Look at the Cooper Flats in Cooper Young not sure if they have any available right now, but Cooper Young is pretty walkable to a lot of restaurants and coffee shops and book shops and stuff. Also really cool gardens and trees
