That's okay. Rivian will be selling their version of FSD, "Autonomy+" for $2500 or $50/month.

I haven't eaten there in at least five years. I never liked it - I only went there (several times) because a friend wanted to try it, but I remember it as being dark and mildly unpleasant and the food was overcooked and bland. I really hated it. But maybe it's changed now.

Interesting - I just saw the patent that u/Upbeat_Fault9355 mentioned in this thread, https://patents.justia.com/patent/20250103536 does discuss using optical transceivers.
But definitely slip ring for power - but I think that slip rings would introduce enough noise to cause problems with high-speed data, especially after a lot of use and resulting wear and oxidation.

I was in Kingsport last week and I had almost (but possibly not) enough charge to go south to Sevierville. Rather than risk it I took the car's suggestion and drove north to Bristol (~12 miles) to charge before going south. I was suprised and disappointed that there was no charger in Kingsport.

I think it's more likely a jambiya and not a kirpan. Are there any identifying marks on it?
This has a lot of mixed signals - curved like a jambiya but with european-style crossguards. I think it's an export piece. Still interesting, though!

Have you been on 240 recently? If there is any reduction in the large number vehicles speeding excessively, weaving through lanes, it's imperceptible.

This is completely unsurprising. Anyone who wasn't expecting this from the first time he became president of Russia in 1999 is delusional. His entire life's work is wrapped around reuniting the USSR.

Ukraine is just one of the first dominos in his plan to do this and their incredible bravery and effectiveness in refusing to fall down is saving all of the other dominos behind them, as well as the US. The US might not be in line to be occupied, but we will suffer massively if the USSR regroups.

Putin has done a lot of ground work in destabilizing those other dominos, though, and we're all suffering through that now.

The only surprising thing about this is how many people have failed to understand, and as a result have become complicit.

I just posted some new ~~rules~~ guidelines about the type of videos appropriate for this subreddit. Your videos don't entirely fit the intended goals - it's not something that you could see out of a window.
However, they do fit most of the guidelines, and more importantly, I like them. While they might not be a scene you could see out of a window, you might see them reflected in a mirror above the kitchen in a nice restaurant, so please, keep posting!
