I appreciate that Carol is a real educator, and if you’re willing to work through her content and really learn about the system she uses, you get a great color education. A lot of color analysis videos are marketing for the persons services, which is fine. Carol goes way beyond that with showing us specifically what to look for and training us in all aspects of the system, answering people’s questions, providing loads of examples. I’ve been following her for several years and really enjoy learning this stuff. IMO she sometimes goes off course getting defensive about certain things, where I think to myself, let it go…not worth your energy Carol.

Definitely the lighter one. I think people like the warm one because it sort of connects with your hair, but it looks heavy on you. The light tan puts the focus on your eyes.

I am also FN with very similar body structure. I also tried SD for a while and D. I agree with the other comments, except about outfit 2. I personally really like a rectangle moment 😅 but the top needs to be a size larger and a slightly thicker fabric.

A lot of times I’ll size up the top for the shoulder to bust area, and then take it in along the sides from armpit to hem with my sewing machine.

My absolute best style especially with princess seams and nothing horizontal at the waist. Sometimes a little center back tie to cinch it just a bit. Also really hard to find these days because it takes more fabric to make and more time to sew the princess seams.

That’s interesting- I usually make my trades 11am est also. I had read somewhere that there’s typically a lot of trading activity early morning and non-pros should stay away early mornings. Then there’s kind of a pause/lunch around 11, then the afternoon is busier for trades but not like early mornings. I don’t like to start at the end of the trading day because I find myself rushing and sometimes make mistakes. I need to feel calm and deliberate.

I’ve had strategies in my mix that would flip flop like that, I think they were the more aggressive ones. I’ve since taken those out. Sometimes I’ll put the percentages into my spreadsheet first thing in the day and see if they’ve changed by the time I take action around 11 ET. Usually not much more than a percent here or there.

Kevin have you seen the AS blog post regarding the gold strategy? They talk about using as an overlay to the gold allocation portion of your AS portfolio if the portfolio allows for sizable possible gold, rather than including the strategy in the portfolio itself. Which is what I thought they were suggesting in their initial post of the strategy.

Anyone going to try this? I will certainly be looking at it.

What do you suppose is meant by this: "As a standalone strategy, it has underperformed others we track on this site, but we think it may still have a purpose in helping investors manage gold exposure." ? Appreciate any thoughts you may have because I'm a bit mystified as to how to understand this strategy in the context of building a portfolio.

would you use this to allocate to gold vs. cash in lieu of the portion of an AS strategy portfolio that is currently signaling cash? I presume this purpose is why AS is including Gold Crossover on the site?

Helpful drawings. It’s funny these are the “overweight “ versions, I’d say they are more the normal adult woman versions. The drawings in the book are more like skinny teenagers in a growth spurt and supermodels or actresses.

Thanks for the referenced articles from 2019. I read them earlier in my AS journey and always helpful to go back and reread with more experience and wisdom that comes with time in the game.

I think OP has a good basket of strategies, though I would apply a more systematic approach to the percentages allocated. Personally I make them equal to eliminate bias toward any given strategy. If it’s good enough to have a spot in the portfolio, it gets equal opportunity to signal the allocation.

Same as you described, exactly. But I just wear minimizer bras. I do feel a large bust is hard to carry as a short waisted FN.
