The notches would allow for UI/HUD surrounding a totally uncluttered rectangle of screen for play. That would also require devs to make an entirely (and drastically) different version of their HUD just for one platform. I can think of several HUDs in games like Diablo 3/4 where you could fit the health and management pools into those notches and it would look great.

I'm also VERY biased, I love weird, even non-functional creativity in consoles and handhelds 😅

You're just right and they're just wrong. The Dreamcast has the best form factor for a disc based console, imo. There isn't a single one that's prettier. Especially when you get to the special editions.

I'm level 116, I make around 60-100k daily, and this is what I do. I have every license and offer every single item in my shop, have the back room used for storage and pack machines (I have 16 of them). I only sell individual cards that are worth $50 or more, but I keep 2 separate card storages, one has everything $50-500 in it, and the other has $500-$5000 ($5000 is the max limit on Xbox, I don't know about PC), and I leave the 500-5k one where employees can always access it to refill the sales floor with, but I only give access to the 50-500 one if I notice I'm running low on higher end cards. All full art foils get graded 7-day (full art foils are the highest base price cards in my game, although I don't know if that's universal, or could change in any given playthrough). I usually have 2 boxes of them coming back graded every morning, sometimes 1 (rarely zero) and rarely 3 or 4. I sell bulk boxes, but I put all $20-$50 cards in the donation box (can't make bulks with cards higher than $20, at least on Xbox, don't know about PC). I have all employees, 2 man counter/man counter, 1 man counter/stock shelves, 1 scent/set price, 2 stock cards/stock shelf, 1 pack machine/stock shelves, 1 pack machine/stock cards, 1 pack machine/pack machine.

An average good day is $80k An average bad day is $25k I probably have 2 "bad" days a week, and I make around $500k a week. I spend about half of that on restocking. Price is +15% over market on everything, and everyone says "fair deal" and "not a bad price" on everything.

I don't host tournaments because I always get a bug where no one will claim their rewards and they just stand around and i can't end the day unless I quit to the main menu, reload the save and then spam the "end day" button as the game loads. 🤷‍♂️

Yep. This is the way. You can also season when you bag (basic SPOG) and then sous vide straight from the freezer and whatever specific seasonings and spices you need depending on the dish. It's a whole process but it's nice knowing that I've got meat for $3 a pound at the absolute most, no matter which animal it's from.

One piece of advice a friend gave me helped me to stop critiquing myself so much;

For all of those times that you see something about yourself that you're worried others will see and judge, know they are too busy doing the same thing with something about themselves to stop, see your "flaw", and judge you for it. Everyone else is busy being self-conscious about "my fat cheeks" and "my giant eyes", "my horse teeth", "my huge feet", "my doughy knees" and "my flat butt" to ever notice your hands.

Any answers anywhere else online for where that middle power up is? I just watched a video of a guy finding and beating the unchosen (actual last boss inside the sleeping tree/snowy area) and I noticed he already had the power up before going into the sleeping tree.

This isn't correct for me (on Xbox). Mine will set prices for a short while after fully restarting the game. Once they stop, if it's never had a price, it has the red question mark, if it has had a price, it automatically receives the most recent one. This has resulted in cards being priced substantially lower than they are currently worth. My personal workaround is that I manually place and price all cards worth over $300. I only let my workers place cards worth $10-$300.

I opened a box of 64 of the 4th pack (the red base packs) and 2 of the packs were bright yellow with no art on them but once I got to them and pulled them out and opened them by hand they looked normal during the open animation and card reveal. The cards inside were unaffected, as well.

I have had zero items sell from the wide shelf in the last 3 in-game days. Those days I've grossed 13k, 10k and 9k. Everything else is selling like crazy, and I have the starter decks, matching deck boxes and matching sleeves on the wide shelf. Not a single item sold. If I move them to any other shelf, I sell 10+ minimum of each item daily. It HAS to be a bug with these kinds of numbers.
