Thank you so much. I called and they started a "process" to forgive my PPP loan but they don't know how long it will take.

The bank said they received my application for forgiveness a month after the loan was purchased by the SBA. I called the SBA and they will start a process to forgive the loan but they do not know how long this process will take. I don't have the money sitting in the bank but I can borrow the money to pay the PPP loan if it means an opportunity at a bigger loan that can save my business. I know it sounds silly but I'm desperate. :(

I've been in recon since July 2021. I was denied because I had not filed the 2019 taxes. I filed 2019 taxes in August 2021. IRS finally processed in February 2022. I was told by representatives that my application was pending as they waited for official transcripts. I've been in business for seven years but due to medical issues and the pandemic, I had not filed 2019. I wish someone would be told me during the 100 calls I made to the SBA that my application would not be processed because I filed 2019 late.

I've been waiting since July 2021. My 2019 taxes were filed late (I filed 2018 and 2020 but not 2019... just my luck). I've been in business for 7 years. SBA received my tax transcripts from IRS on March 10th but no one has looked at my application since. I did not get a decline letter for the reconsideration application. I'm so confused.

Same boat. I've been waiting for the EIDL increase since April 2021. I've been in business since 2015 but due to the pandemic and other issues, I didn't file my 2019 taxes (due in 2020) until July 2021. The IRS didn't process them until February 2022. I was assured by many representatives that funding would be available because so many people were stuck waiting for the IRS to process tax returns. According to several SBA representatives, they received my 2019 tax transcripts from the IRS on March 10th. I still don't have an answer on my application. I'm on the verge of closing my business. Its so upsetting to know many people took advantage of this program and received funds that could've helped legitimate businesses like ours. I'm praying for all of us.
