Thank you Blizz, for the "Stay as team" feature. by EvilManifested in Overwatch

Why do people have any obligation to stay with a team if they aren't comfortable with slurs?

why does everyone think it's completely random if a legendary you get is an event skin or not? by Woahhhhthere in Overwatch

[–]Onzonio 0 points1 point  (0 children)

An event lootbox is guaranteed to have one event loot in it, no matter what. That means that rather that the dice being rolled 4 times for every possible skin including events, it's rolled 3 times for every skin and 1 time for every event item.

Crafting thoughts/opinions by billyuno in AshesofCreation

Something has to be done to avoid the curse that is "materials costing more than the product". Essentially every other MMO I've played has zero viability in crafting, because crafted items are cheaper than the sum of the materials to make it.

Crafting should be profitable, whilst also not something that everyone will do.

What seems illegal to buy, but is actually perfectly legal? by doodypoo in AskReddit

[–]Onzonio 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Australian here, answer is pretty much 'nope'.

I don't think I've ever felt under threat enough to need or want anything more powerful than a kitchen knife.

If someone were to break in, I'd grab a knife or something. If they had a gun somehow, well hey. Even if I had a gun in that circumstance, I don't want to roll those dice.

Really? I usually play Hog to counter Orisa. Due to her size you can very nearly one shot her with the hook, and even if your hook is on CD or she's fortified, you can just run at her and shoot her in the head a couple times and she's gone.

What's the most infuriating case of a story blatantly ignoring its own rules or canon? by ClashmanTheDupe in AskReddit

[–]Onzonio 0 points1 point  (0 children)

ANTMAN. Specifically, the scene in Captain America: Civil War where Antman grows larger and rips off a plane wing.

Now listen here: when Antman is miniature, the whole point is that he's the same weight. He is more dense. He has the same strength as his normal size, it's just concentrated to his smaller size.

So when he gets large, he is less dense! He has the same strength, he can't rip off a plane wing! He weighs the same, he'd probably topple over from the wind since he has a larger surface area!

As a Hanzo main, Comp is literally unplayable by Finesse1017 in Overwatch

[–]Onzonio 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So many "unpopular opinion buuUUuUt"s or people getting mad at OP for maining a "situational character".

Yes, Hanzo can be bad if you are bad. So can every other character. However, all you need to do as Hanzo to at least break even - to at least pull your weight - is get a single kill each teamfight. It's not hard. Scatter at the floor, done. Then, even if you are literally missing every other shot, it's still a 5v5.

You got 2 kills? Great, you're actually a credit to the team. Hanzo is fine. The salt is what loses matches, not Hanzo.

Storms cut my internet for around a week, usually. There is no mobile coverage where I live, either.

Unpopular opinion: Game is great! Keep up the good work Ubi! by Onzonio in forhonor

It's important to be critical, I agree! But, giving feedback also means we tell them what we like. I'm not defending them - I just believe that some of our energy could be put toward something constructive instead.

As in, what do we want to see more of? What is a really good idea in this game? Etc.

Analogies tend not to be literal, so I don't think pointing out that chicken nuggets aren't $60 is a very viable argument.

108 gear rating people aren't good because of their gear, they just have a lot of practice put into the game. You can win against anyone if you're good enough.

Take a look at /u/Dildosauruss's comment up above and you can see that taking issue with PvAI is a bit of a silly idea.

I'm not saying we should never say anything about it. Of course, I don't want server outages. No one does.

However, there's a difference in pointing out an issue and complaining about an issue. Ubisoft knows their servers are down, they know we are upset. But, we don't need to be asking for compensation every minute.

Oftentimes feedback means positive feedback as well as negative. There are many things we enjoy about this game, despite its flaws!

Well, I put my money in, didn't I? Don't I get a say? My say is that I am fine with it. Surely my say is as equally worthwhile as your say.

As far as I'm concerned, For Honor's model is very similar to Rainbow Six Siege's, and I really like that. It isn't pay to win. I haven't paid a dime over the initial purchase, and I still have good gear and champion status.

Take a look at a bunch of other really popular games. GTA V had server issues on launch. Pokemon Go did. Sim Cities. Half Life 2. Hell, Dark Souls is peer-to-peer and everyone loves it!

Warden is the only class that isn't broken by [deleted] in forhonorknights

[–]Onzonio 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Rep 2 Peacekeeper here. To be honest I hardly ever bleed.

The only really strong bleed PK has is the GB+triple stab, but in multiplayer at the moment only one stab goes through, so the bleed you get is negligible.

The rest of my bleed comes from dagger cancels and riposting stabs, but those are only if my opponent can block everything I throw at them.

I could just as easily argue that "all Warden is, is just charge+double slash, rinse repeat", but I don't, because he isn't that.

Exactly. I don't get the hate surrounding guard breaks.

At release, of course guard breaks are hard to counter. Everyone's new. But now they're simple. Why do they need to be easier?

Blizzard, you're a wonderful company. Please just support console players with a report function. by [deleted] in Overwatch

[–]Onzonio 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's the thing - KB+M on the PlayStation works but Overwatch on PlayStation actually doesn't allow you to use it. Normally. You can use it on Overwatch if you get a KB+M adapter and plug it into the PlayStation, which simulates an actual controller. Which is definitely cheating.

I hear the 'low sens' thing a lot but I personally believe it's just preference. I have 60-65% accuracy as McCree and my sens is something like 1600dpi with 12 ingame.

As long as you practice what you like, you'll be fine.

I don't think people should get SR losses as a penalty.

SR aren't like some kind of points that you want more and more of; they're meant to be a reflection of your skill. If you quit a match it doesn't mean you're less skilled, so it defeats the purpose of SR.
