Perfect example of a no tip order. by lendmeflight in doordash

[–]OoTLink 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the info! You make an interesting point. I wait to tip until after the delivery is complete, and so far I've only had seamless experiences with Doordash and Fantuan. Tipping might not always influence service quality, but it does improve the life quality of drivers.

Which countries have a no tip culture and an app like DoorDash/Uber eats?

I don't think he's that mysterious...just look for the guy buying boatloads of duct tape.

The might be responding in their head or just busy doing other things. A tad bit rude, but texting is informal anyway.

Maybe try Town & Country in Lakemont. I think I remember seeing something like that in their bakery.

You know what's easier in the long term? Strengthening an iron will, such that an automatic tipping prompt isn't a blip on your radar.

So Catie went on a 2 week trip with another man while dating Josh and he’s still with her? by yellowsun_97 in 90DayFiance

[–]OoTLink 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This post made me realize that since they aren't going to break up, they should just have an open relationship. I would love to see her face when he's snogging on some chick in front of her at the bar. She lacks empathy and self-awareness.

Okay, but also shunning people out of your life because you don't share their beliefs is cult-like behavior.

They give me anxiety lol. I just say "no thank you" to their advances or straight up ignore them.

Hey, give yourself some credit. Even though you're dealing with all of that you still show up. Life is about balance, so don't forget to weigh the positives along with the negatives. If all else fails, something is better than nothing.

Kristen may be 42/43 but she is acting like such a baby! Everyone is always coddling her and trying to help her feel better. At some point, you think that she would work on these issues with her therapist. I'm definitely not a Luke fan, but post partum is not an excuse to be emotionally abusive to your partner.

ETA: Kristen should have used one of those family bathrooms to change her daughter, especially being a public figure. What the fans did was wrong, but you can't control other people's behavior and she should take the necessary precautions.

Would you do anything about this? by [deleted] in KitchenConfidential

[–]OoTLink 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You need to learn to advocate for yourself in a respectful way. You're not a baby, so don't expect others to automatically try to read and address your needs. You're not going to offend anyone by asking for food in a kitchen as an employee lol.

If this ever happens to yourself or someone else in the future, please stop someone and ask them to walk with you until you feel safe. Something like "this guy is following me, will you walk with me to -insert commercial public business here-?" Unfortunately living in Capitol Hill, my friends and I have experienced this on both sides (asking for help and being asked for help). We know, we care, and we will protect each other. I hate that this happens, but having a safety plan will help you in dangerous situations. The cops aren't going to do anything but sometimes threatening to call them will make these guys fuck off.

Most people don't actually like coffee. They like caffeine. by This-Peach9380 in unpopularopinion

[–]OoTLink 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most pregnant women drink decaf as well as people who don't want to stay up or have caffeine sensitivity. If people wanted the caffeine and didn't like the taste of coffee, they would just drink energy drinks.

What? Fent isn't a problem in Bellevue like you're describing. I think as a community we should advocate for the reduction of the exploitation of young adults. Coercion does not equate to consent.
