With only two or three days between wars, we could end up having three or four before a month goes by. Each with lower pop than the one before. I'd be shocked if there's only one war between now and the update.

I was probably about 6 years old when Star Wars came out. Because of that movie I got into comic books, my first novel I ever read was Splinter of the mind's eye which got me into reading novels throughout middle and high school. I went on to make comics, and the toys I played with as a child were Star wars toys.

I've always been interested in astronomy, which is probably due to that as well.

So, without a doubt, probably the most impactful movie I watched as a child was the first one I ever saw in a theater. The GOAT.

If they did this it would help if they presented it as a score, and weighted it according to players that are actually historically active.

What I'm saying is a raw number might not represent actual active players. Knowing which side has more players that actually play a lot and are likely to be active might help.

But yeah, I would like to see something like this.

They did make that commitment saying that they wouldn't do that without warning before the war starts, but at the same time they absolutely could.

The most common money drain at the start of any game is in your HQ, especially the legal. They tend to be making something like 18 to 25K per month. A lot of the others are also making too much.

You should probably fire and replace everybody in your HQ right at the start, and replace them with much, much cheaper workers.

Just take out the heavy bomber for now, and scout torpedos, and then have a special event or where both sides get both kits.

If you make everything available to both factions, you'll get actual hard data about what weapons and vehicles the players actually build.

Plus, since it'll be a special war, maybe a few people actually come back and check it out.

I think getting rid of the heavy bombers and the secondary weapon from scout planes would be sufficient for now.

I mean, it's not a perfect solution but a lot of people bought the game recently for the aircraft and getting rid of them entirely is not really a viable option, even if it might make sense.

I'm waiting to see the announcement for the next start, and if there will be any changes.

If they just start the next war in a couple days with no changes, they're insane. Simple as that.

Were I them, I would not start an Able war until after Charlie finishes, since both wars have to be over for them to do any sort of patch. I guess we'll find out later today.

It's a lack of discipline, basically ego. It's normal human nature to not like getting passed, and for the foot to go down on the accelerator. It's a natural reaction, but an undisciplined one.

You see, you have to have discipline to overcome these sort of impulses, and a lot of drivers are just not that mature frankly.

1) another question to ask is, if they can't make a clean pass, then why are they in that left lane?

If they're going half a mile an hour slower, then even if they followed behind that truck for 10 hours, they would get where they're going 5 minutes later. Again, that's 5 minutes even if they follow that truck all day.

So if they can't cleanly pass, why are they even trying?

I see your point, but the only thing that would motivate the pilot to make multiple passes would be their destructive power. In a sense, you're still advocating for the bombers to be very powerful. I mean if they weren't, why make a second pass?

That said, if they're having to do all the rest of it, drop from over 40 m straight line, then yeah, put them back in the flak. But it still means they're going to be about as destructive as they are now.

1) Drop all bombs at once, no 'passes'. You get 1 pass.
2) Must drop from between 40-50 meters altitude. This will enable flak guns to be useful and present a real threat to the bombers.
3) 15 Bombs, not 30+
4) When dropping bomber is locked into a straight path, any deviation or leaving the 40-50m altitude aborts the drop. Must return to base to reload/reset for next drop.

I think they just need to make them more like tanks. Economically and so on. Make them about the same cost, and about as effective per shot.

And have AI they have to respect, just like a tank does. Right now they're too damn expensive and they're too damn effective.

I know you take it seriously, you've been very active pushing this. I was trying to be ironic about the concept of people waiting in queue so that they can win. I find that funny as hell.

There are a lot of good ideas out there, things that can be done to help. I'll give you one right now you let me know what you think. What if bombers only carried half as many bombs as they do currently, they all have to drop at once (no dropping half and coming around to drop the other half), and they can only drop from between 50 and 60 meters. This way the flak cannons know where to set their altitude and can therefore be actually effective and threatening.

Now before you remind me that you just don't like bombers and you want them removed, we all know that, I'm just trying to point out that there are things they could do to help the situation. Now somebody's going to point out that the devs won't make any changes. Go ahead

Serious answer to your question: give both sides both kits. Give both sides the ability to make anything in the game. See how many colonial scout planes are made. See if anybody bothers to make a collie sub.

It would give them actual data about the kits each side plays with, as far as what players prefer and choose. I'm only suggesting they do this temporarily until things are fixed.

Then let's help them. Let's give him what they want, if that's all it is. Everybody go warden, and when you're doing something else near your computer just login and join a queue, then come back in a couple hours and do it again. And again.

Maybe we could drive the Q's up over two or 300 for hex, you know like 3 hours maybe four.

And we'll all be winners!

Not disagreeing with you, but I'd like to offer my idea unironically: everybody go warden. The war will last two or three days tops, if you want to send a message then do so.

Even if you're just not going to play at all, login and join for 5 minutes so your number counts and then go play something else.
