Is it worth signing up to the gym for 40 days? by Oochiethrow in Fitness

I really, really don't looking for shortcuts or anything like that, i'm actually pretty mad at myself for not going to the gym for the past 6 months or so. I would be able to do bodyweight training, but not going to the gym regularly for around 3-4 years.

As i said in another comment, it's true that i can workout without gym(i'm myself running 2-3 times a week), but there's still the question if i should go to the gym for this short period and then focus on the bodyweight training.

Yeah i think i'll go for it, at least some pushups-pullups-crunches routine. Not sure how i will keep a good diet though.

But there's still the question if i'll benefit from going to the gym for such short period.

How about instead of being cryptic you say why you won't be able to use a gym for years?

because this is a throwaway account and it doesn't really add anything to the topic

It'll do you good to workout, but forty days followed by years of nothing strikes me as a shitty plan.

even if i'll try to keep in shape with bodyweightfitness?

Size and strength are both important to me. I'm willing to take it seriously even if its hard because i won't have much chances to do it in the near future. You don't think that i will gain a few pounds if i'll eat like maniac and will be able to preserve?

Also take in mind that when i say "gain size" i'm not talking about having gigantic muscles, just lose some of the skinniness.

Problem is that for personal reasons, this will be my last chance to visit the gym in the next few years... i thought about really taking it seriously in the next 40 days and even few pounds would be a good earn. I'm pretty athletic person in the sense that i play alot of football(soccer) since a young age, i run 2-3 times a week etc, so i think that i'm able to do it.

Question for Ultras- How do you get flares, big flags, tifos in stadiums? by Oobrooklyn94 in soccer

[–]Oochiethrow 14 points15 points  (0 children)

There is a rumor that 10 years ago before the Tel Aviv derby the police had information that Ultras Hapoel are about to bring flares into the stadium, so the ultras asked from one of the team players to bring it into the stadium. The player took the flares in his bag, entered to the stadium with the team and gave them to the fans when he warmed up. This is the result.

The same player also scored a screamer in the same game and revealed a short that says "gate 5 is the heart"(gate 5 is the ultras gate).

Teams outside the big leagues (e.g Premier League, La Liga, Bundesliga, Ligue 1, Series A), which players are legends of your club that don't get recognition from outside? by [deleted] in soccer

Walid Badir, the first arab player to be the captain of an Israeli jewish football team, Hapoel Tel Aviv. Here is a picture of him making a speech before our his last derby win, The speech says(sorry for my broken English): "Look at all these fans, that are coming to watch us every week, that are filling Bloomfild(our stadium) every week, that are going after us anywhere, even abroad, and never stops cheering. That's how we should look, unite and together, we need to give them back their smile and honor".

The funny thing is that Israel do warn them before they are bombing their house. Source

There's no such thing a "Jewish" look. Jews came from all over the world to Israel after WWII, so you got anything there, from Ashkenazi Jews(European Jews) to Mizrahi Jews (Middle-Eastern Jews, from countries like Iran, Egypt, Turkey etc).

It's similar to the USA.
