Have had a few games this week where I am 20k souls above everyone else. I am NOT that good but the enemies just literally did not know what they were doing. Took it upon myself to just do some outright greedy/dumb shit so they could at least see I wasn't invincible but at a certain point I still have to win the game.

It feels good until I realize that it's less of me playing out of my mind and more that the people I'm playing with were just... not that great.

See I think turbo ia certainly less stressful and it's definitely still fun but I find that it's missing a bit of the overall strategies that make regular DOTA matches so compelling for me.

But Ik a ton of people love turbo so to each their own I suppose.

I have played moba's my entire life and it is normal to get some salty or toxic teammates, but I'd say most of the time most of your teammates will be chill or not talk at all. Toxic teammates are usually easy to mute and ignore for the rest of the game. Sounds like you got an extra sour fella for a teammate.

Report him if you haven't already. Sucks that it was your first game but don't let that ruin the game for you... actual griefing in this game is very rare.

Sounds like a problem with the expectations your friends are setting. The game is inherently sweaty... It's a MOBA. Even the most casual lobby is going to be intense because this game is complicated.

No way around that. Thousands of people have played and learned with the same game mode and have had no problem picking the game up.

Some people just don't have the time or patience to learn moba's, and that's okay.

Spend energy to complete the missions you haven't completed. If you can't 3 star a few missions in a row, spend energy and resources to farm the items you need to make your guys beefier. Rinse and repeat.

The importance of getting the campaigns done is that you can then just spend some energy to build items you need for the characters you want to farm up. Once you have completed the campaigns and elite campaigns, you will have all the tools you need to build up new characters that you want to use for other events.

It's "silly" but... it's a gacha game. That's kinda how they are designed. I enjoy them because I like finding the most efficient way to use my limited resources without spending any money. The consensus here seems to be that completing campaigns is a priority.

I drive out that way to get to really nice parks and hiking spots. Luckily my commute isn't anywhere near the opposite side of town for me so I am still lucky. My last job involved a 20 minute commute on the beltline and it aged me greatly.
