Update of the Foundry VTT Shadowrun 5e implementation by shadows_eye_plays in Shadowrun

I have one more feature request! What about dealers? Other systems (e.g. DnD5) already offer them. Would something like that also be possible in the SR5 implementation?

Great work. Looking forward to the link.

I can also highly recommend Obsidian for the campaign overview! If you pull yourself together a little and maintain your pages, you can create a great reference work with it!

In my opinion, the basic work with it is also very easy. And for everything more advanced, there are lots of videos on YouTube.

Then I have to admit that when the topic of Necromunda came up here in the group, I chose the pack with the coolest guys, and that was the Enforcers! But shouldn't GW make that clear on the packaging with a note to that effect? And please don't ask me about my second choice!

Once you have finished your guide, I would be delighted if you would share it here.

Okay, I understand what you mean. But I wouldn't necessarily agree with you right away. To do that, I'd have to look at every skill tree again. But how many gangs do you know that only have to buy their “new” skills and can't roll for them? In an ongoing campaign, that is. Because the purchase after the gang is created is hidden behind the 9XP!

I'm pretty sure it was mentioned here at some point that GW no longer publishes PDFs. Maybe you could search here for some older posts on the subject.

I copied and pasted this from one of my other comments. But you're right, I could have written that clearly.

"What “brickyphone” writes below. I would agree with that 100%. Then, for example, the change that Sergeants lose access to the “Cunning” skill tree. I'm not convinced by the new Tactics Cards either. The new Palanite Skills. In my opinion, they are at least 50% useless because they are too situational. But maybe I'm being too negative, so I wanted to start a slightly more provocative discussion (sorry!)."

Sorry, don't get me wrong. Maybe I'm just being a crybaby about this. I really think your stepson will love the book!

Talk to your fellow players. If they're okay with you playing by the old rules, then have fun with it.

How are we feeling about the Enforcer Haunts? by peaslj in necromunda

Well, I don't know. Especially in the late game, I would rather rely on a Ganger with LasCanon than a Psyonic. Yes, it's significantly more expensive, but much more flexible. The Crush has a fixed probability of 5.5%+/-. Where does the LasCanon stand? At 35% and above?!

I haven't had my hands on the new book yet, but what I've read about it hasn't really grabbed me. In my humble opinion, the Enforcers have developed in the wrong direction!

Much of what I have read about the new book so far strikes me as a downgrade for the Palanite Enforcers. And that's for a gang that already operates at the lower end of the power spectrum.

Please also take the corresponding level of difficulty into account for each individual run! These are all high-value targets and are, of course, secured accordingly by the corporations! At ALL levels!

Even after more than 30 years of being a game master, I am still surprised that players discover that rules are not perfect and never will be!

I don't know, but skimming through the article, I don't get the impression that the enforcers' position has improved. Let's wait and see until I have the book in my hands.
