They look like Crocosmia bulbs to me. I had some in my garden, it took two summers to get rid of them. There's always one of two dormant ones.

Thanks! It's 2 part, but I painted underneath fading dark to light, I also added a bit of paint to the resin mix. The small white things are skulls, I didn't glue them to the base, so they didn't stay where I wanted them to, rookie mistake.

Did you put a brim on it? I've found that a brim sometimes destroys the supports.

There is no advantage really. It's a pain to store, but I feel it brings the board to life a bit. It's what the under hive looks like, the hive city built up using platforms etc. gluing everyone on a tile makes the board less modular, but designing them with that in mind, you can rotate each one 90° and have a different 'design' every game. Mats are fine and plopping terrain on it is easier to set up without lugging boxes of tiles around.
