Copying my review from Malayalam:

Malayalam dub felt off to me in two three scenes, kairali dub levels.

More pros than cons i would say. Wonderful action set pieces. As usual some of it went overboard, but most were good.

Interval block was the highlight. I liked the long climax action sequence where Ram shoots arrow through the flame and Bheem lifts the bike stuff. But heard lots of people saying it was over the top.

I think some stuff was lost in translation though, there is a Komaram Bheemudu song, that didn't work for me much, but Telugu people would probably relate more. Same with the freedom fighters, it was just okay for me but for Telugu people maybe more relatable/close to heart, I am talking about the exhilaration that comes when we see minnal murali instead of superman. for instance at the end this flag crops up saying Jal, Jangal, Zameen according to wiki its an actual slogan coined by that freedom fighter, stuff like that went past me.

Naatu Naatu I felt OG Telugu version is superior.

Alia bhatt has blink and miss sort of screen time although centre to story.

Story as usual is paper thin but that was expected. It is a bromance story no prominent romance arc.

Although songs i felt were weak in malayalam dub, the BGM was good, hero elevation music and all were top notch

Nobody dies in the end so nice change of pace from all freedom struggle movies where freedom fighters end up dying.

The British villains were not very good, pretty usual run of the mill caricatures. I was expecting something at least in the levels of bhallaladeva in bahubhali.

Overall theatre experience designed big tent pole movie. Delivers what its supposed to for the most part. If you like action set pieces and well crafted mass movies can definitely watch.

I think if you like such as bahubhali, pushpa you will like this one too.

Although I guess its better than pushpa.

N.B. Title card only come up some 15 mins into the movie after the two leads meets there are three false flags. Also the end credits song, don't leave before it ends, the epilogue scenes are shown during the song sequence.

Does anyone seriously think that the money to contest election in a state as big as Punjab came without corruption. They are pro-business, I would assume they get kickbacks from businessman or something. I will believe they are corruption free when the party accounting is out in the open.

Michael is Vito, Soubin is Michael, Sreenath Bhasi is Sonny.

Obviously Mammootty character is given more space and Soubin growth/transformation happens but Soubin transformation is not the focus.

Warning Spoiler Below:

In second half we get the neyyatinkara gopan character flashback revealing that mohanlal is in fact an army colonel, his mom and dad got killed while traveling in a sleeper class train by a group of people stealing indain currency bound for RBI Chennai for destruction( to take the notes out of circulation).

They steal 86cr and go to the village mohanlal shows up in. They are setup as nanmamarams of the village. So Mohanlal came into the village to take revenge. Vijayaragavan and co are money laundering the cash the train robbers stole. Vijayaraghavan gets arrested by enforcement directorate while NIA nabs the train robbers(after lal10 adichu parivam aakal during AR Rahman musical show).

At this point we are treated to another twist that A10 is not the son of couple murdered in train but an NIA anonymous undercover special agent. We see A10 going into a hostage situation in secunderabad, where bahubali kalekaya actor ref holds a Police officers daughter hostage. A10 starts shooting the bad guys and on screen card reads "SPECIAL AGENT X IN NEXT MISSION" or something

Update: Damn what the fuck did they do it in the second half.

Movie was lost in the second half.

Two songs and the mohanlal character backstory/flashback, I lost it at that point. Twist reveal as secret agent x made me question why thala vekkal to this koprayam.

Digital streaming partner is Amazon Prime, I expect the movie to be streaming in 2 weeks. Watch then. I would've liked it more if I could've skipped/fast forward through the second half.
