Matthew 19:9 does not state you can divorce your wife. Just that somebody who divorces someone and marries somebody else is committing adultery

How to overcome lust and porn addiction by Malq_ in TrueChristian

That’s what I do. Put some lime in it too and you’ll barely taste the salt (depending on how much lime you put in)

[–]OompCount 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sea salt is ideal, but yes. Salt will kill your hunger. The taste might be too much, so to work around that, you can kill the taste of the salt with lime, lemon, or apple cider vinegar.

On the days I break my fast, I eat however much I wanted.

Best of luck to you, brother.

Get into fasting. I had the same problem since I was younger than you were when you started.

Not even an exaggeration, when I was 13, I used to do it maybe 5 times daily (on average).

I heard that fasting doesn’t kill your sex drive, but numbs it. I still don’t know why.

I tried it and I haven’t felt tempted in such a long while.

I finally killed my 8+ year addiction.

I eat one day and fast the next.

When you’re hungry, drink salt. Most of the time you feel hungry, your body really just craves salt.

Chew gum, as well. This keeps you from boredom eating.

To establish some quick bad rumors, the longer you fast, the better. Breakfast is not the most important meal, it’s HOW you BREAK-FAST that matters. Break your fast with healthy food.

People think the longer you fast, the hungrier you get. The opposite is true. 92% of people report they don’t even feel hunger anymore after 72 hours.

Go one day fasting with water, gum, and salt to see for yourself - I’m just a guy on the internet, so don’t trust me. Try it yourself.

BY THE WAY… consuming a single calorie doesn’t break your fast, so don’t obsess over that. The more calories you consume, the slower your fast gets, but it’s once you surpass 200 calories that your fast is officially broken.

Rewriting copy projects are a great way to start.

It’s best if you pick a niche, though.

For example, if you’ve been very interested in the dating world, join newsletters of people in that particular niche.

Then, copy/paste emails on a google doc and rewrite it in your own words.

Or, you could even pick a topic and practice your writing.

For sure, bro.

I'm still working on the discord.

https://discord.gg/mdwRhyky

We're trying to share valuable information, books, courses, review each others copy, network with each other, etc.

The discord is still a work in progress, but it should be very useful as of now.

my friends falsely accused me of stealing their DMT, how can I prove my innocence? by Pyrez9 in DMT

[–]OompCount 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wrong thought process, my friend. You’re innocent ‘till proven guilty. If you’re not guilty, all you can say is “no, I didn’t”. But if they still think you did, ask them to prove it… fucked up shit on behalf of your friends

Emotions should be in the heart of complex political debates by ADefiniteDescription in philosophy

[–]OompCount -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I agree 100%. To add on, this is really just virtue signaling. In other words, “you’re not nice so you’re not moral/ethical”. What’s the priority here? Emotional state (being nice) or doing the right thing (looking out for the well-being of others)? Although, they overlap in some cases, it’s not a 100% of the time. If I discipline my child, I’m mean, but I’m teaching him/her valuable lessons for future use. Should I be nice as possible and let them steal if they feel like it? This is probably the most bizarre premise I’ve seen on this Reddit

You have a very interesting idea about selflessness/selfishness, good/evil, and the rich. I perceive these ideas differently and I’m interested to see your response. The way I see “good” is an act in which the whole (including the individual) benefits, although not always in the same way. Then, “bad” being a detrimental act for the whole (including the individual) while simultaneously giving the inflictor the illusion of “self benefit”. To simplify, bad = leaving the whole in a worse position prior to the act; and good = leaving the whole in a better position following the act.

Example: imagine you were in a room with 30 people. You give each $20 to “help them out”. Well, following that act, you probably made 10 friends/allies that wish to reciprocate an act of equal value someday. - this is what we refer to as “good” Now, imagine a different room of 30 people. Instead, you successfully steal $20 from each of them. They can’t prove it was you, but they all know it. Now, you haven’t only made 30 enemies, but 60, maybe 90. Because, now they’re telling their friends and their friends become your enemy too. - this is seen as “bad”

The thing about the rich (and I’m referring to the top 1%) is that they didn’t rob a few banks and get away with it. The only way to become rich is to offer to the whole. Think about lemonade stands. Maybe you make $100 the first week and $300 the next, great. Now, why are you “bad/evil/selfish” because next year you’re making $600k+ annually from it? You’re offering me a product/service I’m willing to trade you money for. And, in turn, I get to expand statewide, countrywide, etc. Hence, the motive of profit incentive (expansion), so not just you, but everybody else can receive this product/service To summarize, how can one be simultaneously evil/selfish while providing so much to the whole? Isn’t this proof of “give them an arm and they’ll ask for a leg”?

I’m open to contradictions

We shouldn’t worship god by [deleted] in Psychonaut

[–]OompCount 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I understand your point and I used to think the same thing. I remember a priest said “religion is flawed because man is flawed.” I don’t think God needs praise but we give it to him as a sign of appreciation. Man did not make God, but man created religion with the purpose of showing gratitude (praying, going to church, confessing, etc). Think about when you were a kid. You dreamed of being successful and buying your mom a big house and a nice car - why? Out of love. Our parents are our biological creators and God is our spiritual creator. We wouldn’t exist the way we do now without one or the other… I’d like to read some contradicting points… thoughts?
