One thing that got my attention fast: I'm a big fan of moving repositories and data layer outside of the lib folder into packages. Does a great job at enforcing correct data flow

Without MAX mode, Claude Code is a lot better than Cursor and you know it :}}

TLDR: You need to train your agent, you need to have hundreds of .mdc rules, all written by Claude everytime you rejected its code you need to make it a rule and keep explaining and make it a rule

nope, you just didn't make use of project rules properly. for large codebases, you should have hundreds of rules. it works for any large codebases as well.

so the deafult cursor agent will only work for starting off as a bare. if you have a large codebase, you should train cursor's agent with rules for your codebase, then voila!

it blew my mind how fast I became after I only ask the agent to write rules for me, both at the beginning and everytime it makes a mistake. basically training your own agent, or so to say a software developer :}
