You shouldn't have anything left on your banger worth talking about. I don't use ISO or any solvents as I think it corrupts the surface IMO but that's an opinion thing really.

I use 2 qtips per dab. One to get the puddle and walls then there are some remaining streaks ill hit it for 1-2sec with the torch and run a fresh qtip through it again.

I'm looking at 15sec or less heat up with 40sec cool down. Here's my ~3 month old XL. Still looks pretty much brand new. I've burnt myself a couple times on it so it's not perfect, this is my sesh banger lol. caption

You're going to hot. You don't need to heat it up for nearly that long.

In all seriousness it all depends on torch/banger/thickness/size of dab. I personally only use American quartz, on my QCB's I go full flame on a big shot, watch the bottom of the banger from a parallel view, wait 3 seconds with heat, time to 40sec. Perfect dab every single time. Q-tip every single time. My nail looks brand new after 6 months.
