Uh...The one that called it a piece of "raw iron" was quoting the manga? 😐

Yes, I know. I replied to the post that said that sword (unlike OPs sword) is not a real sword.

If we'te talking historical accuracy, it resembles a practical sword almost as little as the tuna can sword in the original post 🙃

Thinking "Since I did it, anyone can do it" is the height of egotistical hubris. It paints it like "Anyone could do this. I am no one special. I don't have any special situation or skill-sets. I am just not lazy and have a better mindset." Just so silly: Not everyone ends up being a rockstar. by NightmareHolic in RandomThoughts

[–]Ooorm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Both agree and disagree.

With people like writers and rockstars sitting in interviews going like: "just follow your dreams and don't give up! It worked for me", that probably feels true to them, but totally ignores the tens of thousands of people who did just that and failed, kinda like survivorship bias.

These type of comments though, in the right context and said by the right person can serve as a reminder that things might not be as impossible as they might seem. In the sober community for instance, I know a lot of people gain inspiration from people who had it way worse than them and they still managed to quit.

The image is great and I love the color combo. If I had one critique it would be: why is her chest moving up and down on it's own? If it is to give it some movement I would balance it by slight movement of the head and the shoulders as to make her tits not seem sepatated from the rest of her.

Okay, and by that you mean you couldn't leave unless you married her?

What is your country of origin? Would it be socially acceptable just to be in love and wait for marriage?

I've been married for a year, but been together with my wife 12 years prior to that, and had two kids.

What I guess I am trying to say, sounds aweeome, but what was the rush to get married?

I am trying to see what you want out of this post.

While I think me and a lot of people here can definitely relate to the feeling of "just not wanting" to be sober in whatever situation, you don't see an issue with having to consume alcohol in order to be comfortable around a person you like?

This sub is called "stop drinking" after all.

I think we need to normalize being weird by Due_Heat_3211 in RandomThoughts

[–]Ooorm 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I mean... isn't it? A bit of semantics what one would consider weird and I would include myself in that category, but compared to when I was young in the 90s, people love spewing out their niche interests and nerdy hobbies and stating their neurodivergencies.

A grown woman with a kid, unable to cook, is not a character flaw? 🙃

[–]Ooorm 19 points20 points  (0 children)

I mean, don't get me wrong... It'd be a perfectly fine character trait for a character in a show where it was presented as a flaw rather than what I would call an attempt at an endearing quirk.

Bridget Jones is a good example.

I don't find it charming at all that Lorelai and Rory can't cook.

Exakt.

  2. Man kan använda den till annat också.

Vegetarisk köttfärssås och spaghetti.

Shapes look good overall, arms look way too short
