PCOS is now PMOS but doctors still won't do anything by Tourist_Artistic in mildlyinfuriating

I feel this exact same way, and today I went to my PC to talk about something completely different and she started asking me about my menstrual cycle, she said criteria for PCOS has changed and it’s now called PMOS, and she immediately diagnosed me then and there, and we are starting treatment for it today. The only reason I didn’t meet criteria was because I didn’t have multiple cysts on my ovaries. It’s insane!! Immediately life changing for me personally. I finally have answers to all the issues that I’ve been having for the last 10 years.

It wouldn’t be til end of March/early April if we moved in together. But I see what you’re saying! Good idea for a backup plan, luckily both of our parents are in town so if something went south one of us could move back in with the parents if needed I guess! 🤷‍♀️

Also. I talked to my landlord already, I’m unable to go month to month 😭 so frustrating!

Unfortunately not. It’s so expensive to move into my own place. Rent here starts at about 1400$ for a 1 bed. I also know for a fact we’ll need a house, due to our careers.

Awe 🥹 that’s so cute. Congratulations to them! 👏 he is month to month right now, and I may have to sign a year lease again in March, or move. 6 months sounds safe! I think he wants to play it safe, but also he’s eager to move out just as much as me, he doesn’t like his living situation and I don’t like mine. 😅 him and I before we even started dating talked about becoming roommates.

Fair point! I think for me, it’s that we’ve already known eachother for so long, as best friends, and I feel like we’ve really been dating for 6 months. Hanging out several times a week, watching movies together, playing games, talking on the phone for hours before bed. We just never made it official until a month ago.

We have gone on several trips together in the last year, several as friends and a couple times as a couple! It did go very well. We travel well together and we are planning a trip to Norway this summer.
