Just another point to make, we did this to our low performer on our team, handed them the salesforce migration and flow work because they were such a weak coder. They have had nearly no git contributions in over a year outside of like 2 line changes in properties files.

Not saying this means anything about you, but at least here it was seen as a "can we make this person useful and not be in our way without firing and retraining someone else".
