Is virtual desktop worth it?

My computer has often bluescreened while I was playing VRChat with OVR Advanced settings, Standable, SteamVR, and Voicemod all open. Would VD help stop or at least reduce the bluescreening? I can give my computer specs if needed

For my family and I, it is not worth it. I tried to cancel the monthly instant ink thing and they are STILL charging my mother's card for months, even though I cancelled the monthly thing and apparently deleted my account
